Buds cured can I compress it without problems?

Hello everyone. I harvested Jan 11th or 12th and have about 7 or 8 large mason jars loosely filled with bud. I was burping on a regular basis early during the cure but now near never.

For storage and concealment (kind of important in my situation) if I were to compress my bud tightly into a single block, ball, whatever, would it damage it or create other problems? This is for personal use only so appearance doesn't really matter.

Get a food saver from Walmart. You should be good for vacuum sealing at this point.

A lot of headshops sell lots of things to hide a stash in. WD40 cans that the bottom screws off etc. Just don't try to hide it in a car cause some cops are smart enough to twist the bottom. Go find a thick book @ goodwill and hollow it out. Toss brick in. You can hide your stash further then.

stop do not do that to good bud .....it is a shame to turn it into brick looking trash

this thing is what i tell my buddies to use ........put the stuff inside shut it and then pore rubbing ach over it and use a paper towel to wipe down (u are sealed up in black it is vacuum locked and u washed off anything on the outside with the ach ) just take a piece of duct tape and wrap it around to act a safety seal (no matter how good u are duct tape leaves that residue from the glue so if they peal it and try to reseal it u will see a mark ) just when u wash it down make sure u clean that crap off

and if u are still worried they might open it steal and reseal

the duct tape on the glue side use a marker and make something u know to look for on the tape when u pealed it off (honestly only a good thief would know to look for something like that ) so kiddies and teens along with most ppl will never think of looking as they peal it they are more worried about what is inside

Do they really need to be compressed? You could save a ton of space by dumping the jars into a cardboard box, and just wrapping the box with a few layers of saran wrap. That by itself should save a lot of space, and you can store the box. When you open it, you can tape the plastic onto the cardboard flaps to make it like a lining.

Also, put a layer of copy paper or wax paper at the bottom of the box to collect shake/kief.
