Buds for Less - CFL BOOK

Great book, ive enjoyed it very much.

Suggestion though... should have put a little about setting up the hoods because ive notice there are a lot of reflective hood questions on the forums.

Love the book though, read it front to back, back to front many times....
 
both my babies turned out male, your book dosent address any causes of this.... Is it bad luck or too much stress when they were younG???

I just went back and read pages vii and viii - on building the light rig...

THERE was NEVER a reflector.. it is just plain old bad wording...

I really apologize for the misunderstanding.... the good news is, you can do great without a reflector... I prefer to have the bulb surrounded by plants,.... Rather than lose one side of the bulb to a REFLECTOR...

just bought the book today....I already have seedlings in a bubbler but I am going to switch and follow the book. Do you see complications from that? Should they be fine?

Could be some shock...

Should be fine... be very gentle when handling the tap root, try not to TOUCH it..

BUSHY and thick is MO BETTA.... way way mo betta.. congrats.... keep it tight. the tighter the nodes, the bigger the BUDS :)

Post pics tomorrow afternoon, and do males have actually flowers on them when flowering? it has seed pouches for sure but on the top and about 3 spots around the side it looks like flowering (not really weed...but maybe) just wonderin ill post pics of both
 
Got your book, going to be doing a CFL grow from 'day one' in about a month or so, really looking forward to it.
 
Hey GK where are you???? You never answered my last post. I just set up a 80 gallon rubbermaid with 6 soil pots and a 42w Soft White CFL with a 10.5" Clamp on round Reflector
. It is currently my veg box. Just to root clones and put them into 12/12.

What do you think????

I have been in central america.. i return to the states shortly :)
