I use them!! A lot of people I've read scoff at them. But there is a science to it and if done correctly they work awesome!! For me to sum it up would be, it's all about light spectrum and Kelvins!!

I agree with you and I seen growers pulled off 43gs from two CFLs 23w each one gram per watt that is very good

If I send you a link will you check it out and tell .a if my lighting (color temp' lumns, and amount ) I can make changes as I'm still working out the kinks getting mixed info from info. That's okay it just means everyone is learning at that's cool.

my playtime 180 watt grow 2x2x3.2 ft was fine
its not all about big bud all the time(I have outdoors for that).
genetics still plays the biggest part
some lower branches I let finish up
