Buds look strange

I haven't seen buds like this before is this normal or has the plant hermied? Smells really nice

Those are foxtails

normal if the plant has thai genetics in it

Have you looked at a lot of harvest pics? Buds looks all different kinds of ways. I call this one bubble weed because I think the calyxes look like bubbles.

Thanks for the replies. Erm I've seen my fair share at harvest but haven't come across this before. I got a few of these seeds from a friend apparently sensi super skunk so was unsure.

Foxtailing can come from High N, high temps and running a plant too long...
I have a strain that does not really amber much......When she starts to foxtail. It's telling me that she's just about done and is ready to be given the day to day judgment for harvest.
I have another that love to foxtail - look at my Avatar.

Sativa's in general are more prone......

I have one doing just the same...rarely happens to me as I rarely grow sativas...

Superskunk from sensi is a nice grow, if things are off the bud does look like this, i find its quite a light green bud, yours looks a lot darker. Its one of my favourite strains.
