no I only meant this far into flower. I wouldn't do a major defoliation this far into flower. Taking most of the fan leaves at week 3 of flower is gonna cause issues and it likely will not increase yield at all. absolutely no issues defoliating in veg though. I mean, you always want to make sure you have good airflow throughout the canopy, to the point that should be the main, and possibly imo the only, goal of defoliation. But you don't want to take all or even more than half of the fan leaves at any point unless you're gonna take her down in the next couple days. Taking everything under the net before flip? sure, have at it, that makes sense. Taking most or all of em last week or so before harvest? sure, have at it, will make trimming easier later. Taking like half or majority of fan leaves 3 weeks into flower? likely just gonna hurt yourself, either in leaf burn or yield or both.Is that true for both veg and flower? Best practise then to let the plants drop the leaves when they want?
