Buds taking to long to dry 20+ days help

my buds have been drying for almost a month now and i have no clue why they aren't ready yet, all my other harvests took only a week to dry in nearly the same conditions, i dont see any mold or anything like that so im not concerned about that, they are just taking to long. My dry room is pitch black, %60 RH, 70 degrees F, light indirect airflow. I started with hang drying the whole plant only removing fan leaves, but then when I realized they were drying to slow I trimmed all the buds and put them on a screen to dry. A few days ago I even started pointing fans directly at the buds and they are still drying at snail speed. If anybody has any thoughts or suggestions to share I would really appreciate it ive tried all sorts of things, searched all over the internet for answers and I still cant figure this out.

lower Rh to between 40+55%
And raise temp to 75° if have to

At least one or two oscillating fans on low or med depending on room size
You shouldn't have to have wind direct,

Move you temp/Rh sensor around the room make sure it's reading right,

All else fail use brown paper bag in regular closet room temperature and rh - open bag 2 time a day 15-20 min do not over fill bag,
Dry should be 7-10 days normally

Your Rh and temp are good. Are they nice big buds? That’ll take longer, lucky you.
I run my dry/cure room 55 RH and under 70. In 10 -14 days they’re dry enough to dry trim the buds. I just leave them in the room to cure. Last crop was June 22-26 and what’s left is still in there, gonna go bust some up right now.

Drying slowly is not necessarily a bad thing. The only reason I dry mine within a 7-10 day window is because I have to in a commercial setting to keep the master schedule on track. As long as you don't run the risk of bud rot or mold which you shouldn't with those rh and temp numbers. Slow drying is usually better.

Imo 60/60 is the best for drying. It takes longer though, but preserves more terpenes iirc.

I agree. It will preserve the terpenes and terpene oils and prevent chlorophyll from getting trapped which gives buds the grassy hay smell when not dried or cured properly.

Hopefully you don't have a seeded crop. I've seen seeded harvests take much longer. Otherwise I'd say just lower your RH down to 50%.

Hey man, thank you for the input!

I would have tried to lower my RH to the 40’s or 50’s as that was the first solution to come to mind. But I dont really have a sealed dry room and its really humid in my area atm so the lowest I can get it is 55-60%, so since I cant get my RH any lower ive just been trying to increase airflow as much as possible

I will definitely try that paper bag method though that seems like my best bet.

As far as bud rott don't show up, you are good. I did cure/dry tons of things along the years (herbs of all kinds, fruits, veggies, etc, etc), and I was very happy when it take more time than expected, mainly because at the end there is that "fresh smell", that smell that tell you that is something organic/living/fresh and didn't go so much riped that I like to keep in everithing, ofc cannabis included, and long curing and drying do it perfect.
