So, I'm on my second grow right now. I have a small tent with a blurple LED. I tried to do the same as last time: grow four plants in a small space. What I had not expected however, was that 2 of the 4 girls would turn into absolute monsters.
One plant of these two monsters remain. It's a White Diesel Haze automatic by White Label and it looks veery sativa in the way it's growing and all. So, I expected the flowering period to be somewhat longer than usual and just went with it. The plant had a potassium deficiency, which caused it to stretch, which on its turn makes the stems a little less sturdy. I am now 14 weeks in since germination, and if memory serves me right I'm on about week 8 of flower.
This strain was supposed to have a relatively short flowering period. I did not plan ahead, because I did not think it was ever going to get this big. The branches are weighing down the entire plant towards the middle of my tent. I'd say I'm going to chop a little early, but the buds are still putting out a massive amount of white pistils. I looked at the trichomes, and on the sugar leaves there is a lot of amber, but the buds themselves are more like 80-90% cloudy and the rest clear.
I just want to make it to harvest without wasting too much quality or quantity. If anyone's got tips for me, I'd be happy to take them. I'll upload some pictures ASAP for extra visual info.
