Well all you have to do is read any information on scrogging, from someone who knows how to do it that is, to know that buds benefit from direct light. I dont need to post "proof" because its retarded. it would be like me having to post proof that plants need water to live. Any part of a plant that receives direct sunlight/artificial light is going to have a growth spurt, its "basic botany". I resort to name calling prick-o because of riddle's agro response to me saying he was misinformed. If riddle could argue like a big boy(and all by himself i might add) i never would have come at him like that.

And who ever said anything about cutting off all the fan leaves? Not even the dumbest stoner would do some dumb shit like that. And you really are stupid if you think the amount of posts someone makes is a good barometer of how good a gardener they are.

its the fact all the tops are equal in height (they then get all the main growth point auxin that determines where the dominant growth points are), that is why you use a screen of green to get a sea of all even top colas....pretty simple to understand if you ask me, go re-read and see if you maybe get a bit better understanding of things before you assume you know it all. riddleme has probally grown more better pot in his last grow than you'll ever see in your whole career if you dont take the time to understand things.

Buds don't need light, it's the leaves that use it to make the buds with, bending them away from WHERE THEY WANT TO BE IS WRONG!
I guarantee you buds need light... As someone said if a leaf gets direct light, it will get a growth spurt. Same thing goes for buds. Moving leaves out of the way of a growth shoot plain makes sense... Not only is the leaf preventing the shoot from photosynthesizing direct light; it also physically blocks the shoot, stunting its growth. I've definitely saved some branches from obscurity by moving a fan leaf out of the way.

I know how to scrog dude, Im the one arguing for it. The other guy is the one saying buds dont need light. Maybe you should read the thread before you make nonsensical argument. Just cause i dont wanna post pictures of my garden to keep my plausible deniability doesnt mean i dont know what the fuck im talking about. Growing weed isn't difficult - period

What i said was meant to go along with what he said actually.i did read the whole thread. You should relax, it really doesnt matter anyway. riddleme is technically right, want to know why? those fan leaves dont go and take all the energy, a good portion continues on deeper into the plant but thats not important, you can do what you want, some things work better than others for different people. but dont go and start personally attacking one of the most knowledgable growers on here for no real reason and expect not to get some negative feedback aimed back at you.

they are looking nice. ive been watching. i think the sweet tooth is just slow to take off i read around on it, some sites say 8 weeks but most say 8-10 weeks to flower. it seems to be catching up.

almost up to week 4 they seem to be picking up. the one in the middle looks like it has some yellowing going on at the top. any feedback would be apretiated. i shut down the lights for a few of the pictures so you could see the greeness of them.

no they look good, often times new growth will be a lime green or lighter green (kinda yellowish) it is totally normal

I noticed I tend to get more lime green tops with fast growth while on 12/12. They tend to green up for me thru out the day. I can't recall what type of bud ur growing, but perhaps it's a slower budding sativa. They look good tho, I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep checking the trics so u kno when to start your all important flush. I finally got some pics up of my current orange crush aero/nft grow.

I took a look at em, I'd say u can start flowering. They look big enough. If u have alternating nodes then they are ready for sure. I never even seen a bottle of fox farm anything so I can't help you with that. I'm an advanced nutrients user.

Wow, they look fantastic!
Your pics are a great example of how much the buds start to fill out after the first 4 weeks...I'm a month behind you so have been following your grow with great respect.
Outstanding!
