So I cured my first crop 2 weeks ago.. I hung em for about 3 days and then paper bagged them for another day or 2.. My buds werent hard but fluffy

Now all of my bud is over crispy.. I have it all in jars but even then when I check them.. the bud is still very dry and breaks easily if touched\messed with... :wall:

I tried smoking some of it and the hits I got were extremely rough and produced a lot of smoke.. as if smoking reggggg :(

What did I do wrong?

What can I do to fix this!??

So..two weeks..3 days hanging and 2 days in paper bags. So your weed has been in jars for 9 days and completely dried the fuck out? Did you put lids on the jars?

sounds like it was airy to begin with and dried quick because it lacked density ...try adding a couple fresh healthy fan leaves in each jar..should suck up some more moisture

spread out the buds on a tray or plate
then steam up your bathroom well and
put the tray/plate on the bathroom counter
or higher and lit sit for 10-15 minutes

Don't see buds getting way over dried in 9 days in jars..something not right. Maybe I just don't have experience growing weed crappy enough? :eyesmoke:

I put lemon peels in gram baggies and put them into the jar but its done absolutely nothing.. should I just put the lemon peels without the gram baggies? I dont want to ruin the weed so I dont want to experiment

Putting the peels in baggies kind of defeats the purpose. You won't ruin the weed as long as they aren't dripping wet.

I had this happen with fluffy sativa. You can dry it out too much in just a few days. Soak a bit of paper towel or tissue with water and fix it in the jar of weed so it does not touch the weed. Tape it to lid or other way.

Keep checking on the weed every few hours till it gets a little moist. Remove the water source. If you rehydrate too much you risk mold, which I know from experience.

If your buds dried out that bad in that short space of time they must've been airy to begin with.
You cannot recure now that they have been below the 55% humidity range, curing is simply done.

As mentioned you can add fruit peels or wet paper to re-moisten but you will not improve your weed per se.
