Buds with no pistils, harvest or wait?

I have a blue dream plant, about 6 feet tall, growing outdoors on my balcony. Because it's sativa-dominant I expect it to be harvested late, but somehow the buds don't look normal to me. I harvested a white russian and a blue forest berry before and they looked all fat, fully developed and most of all: they had pistils.

It must have started to show first signs of flowering in mid September, So I assume that the flowering phase started around beginning of September. So it should still have a few weeks until ready, maybe even a month...

It may be a bit cold already (nighttime below 10° degrees and day between 12° and 20°... Otherwise I think the plant looks more or less healthy, but I realized that there are some spots on a few buds (~3) where the bud is already a bit dried out. (no mold though, I am keeping here nice and dry).

Did someone of you see that before and what could it mean? There are a few pistils (old ones, already turned brown) but the amount is very low and I don't see any new ones coming...

When inspecting the trichomes I see that some of them have already turned amber, but as I said the buds themselves don't look rich and fat like I expected them to be...

What would you recommend?

Thanks for your answer. I just double-checked. There is absolutely no grey mold or anything that seems to grow in there. It is rather like the bud is just dry in that specific spots. I will probably remove them though, just to take no further risk.

But what about the pistil-less buds? Even the ones that look absolutely healthy at the bottom have very very few pistils...

Since you said it's sativa.. i couldn't imagine it being finished. Is that browning starting from the bottom of the plant going up?
What medium do you use/light you use?

can you explain the conditions she's kept in please. (I'm still leaning towards either bud rot or mites. I would need to see clearer pics and some pics of the leaves around the plant.

It looks like something u'd be scared of as a kid, hiding the closet ! especially in the lighting and ur lense thing lol. That being said she's not ready but... off with it's head

Jk dn't kill it. Also the browning is not normal like he saaid &^ possibly rotting roots

I’ve had plants grow like that with hardly any pistils at all. But something isn’t right here.

That browning is on a few buds in the top region. Could it be that the plant was hurt (pushed against or similar) that caused the damage? Their was a storm a few days ago and that little roof I built got loose and hit the plant .

Anyway I will get better images tomorrow.
About the conditions: As I said it's outdoor, in a pot on my balcony. Pot is not too large. Around 25l, normal soil. I almost stopped fertilizing, as I want it to be flushed thoroughly. The light is just sun light, if the sun is out the plant will get it from around 8 o'clock in the morning till 16:30 in the afternoon, but it is mostly cloudy and overcast now. I protect it from the rain with that little roof I mentioned, which does a good job doing that.

So I got some news: you mentioned spider mites yesterday, which I checked. And indeed I found a few. No webbing though and the mites weren't more abundant in the region of the rot/browning...

I see that mites are no good, but as the conditions for them are not perfect (I got some wind on the balcony and the temps are probably too low for them to enjoy it...) and I will try to fight them by just killing the ones I see and trying to «wash/rub» of eggs or whatever might stick under the leaves.

I have 2 remaining theories now:
1. I was 3 weeks away on vacation in september. During that time the plant was unprotected from rain and the budrot (I have more images from that) may have occured in that time and stopped spreading now. Also that browning is not damp or moist at all, no mold visible, just those limp and brown leaves.

2. I wonder if spider mites can cause that browning. Could it be that the browning is in fact some heat/sun burn caused by the mites?

About the images:
- on on of the pics you can see some mites. This was the leaf with the most mites I could find. Normally there were none or 1. Would you agree that with the current conditions I can just try to keep an eye on them and it won't be a killer for my plant?
- the buds I cut off on the red background show the biggest «bud rot» or «browning».
- and sorry about the quality. my phone would not make any better...

can you take a close up of number 6 again from the top??? looks sorta like bud rot, but could just be a change in colour due to cold weather

When I came home it was already dark, so image quality dropped again, despite taking a better phone...
Anyway here are some other pictures of Nr. 6 (which is the king bud/head).

The brown part is another one of those brownings, we talked about earlier in this thread. It is all dry (no moisture, damp, moldy thing), it looks rather burnt or just squeezed a little. The whole rest of the bud looks alright... (also nothing hidden inside.)

Please don't be offended, but it looks stressed to me and why are you leaving so many yellow leaves? They just drag your plant down and aren't providing any nutrients whatsoever. That's why they are yellow; there's nothing left in the leaves. Get rid of the yellow and give your plant some air.

Something is definitely wrong bc you hardly have any trichomes. I think taking the yellow leaves off and giving her some calmag, flowering nutes, and molasses would pep her up and get her to start producing like she's supposed to.

No offense taken . I tried to find a definitive opinion, if I should take away the yellow leaves or not. I read some forum posts and discussions. The debate is unclear to me. Some say leave them until you can just pull them off without any effort, others like you say the opposite. I will give it some more alga bloom and some magnesium and calcium and see what happens. Thanks for the hint though.

What I would still wonder is, what you all think about that browning, cause I still don't know what it is .
