Bump for the Budswell, The nice thing about growing the same strain is you can have a better understanding of what works for it :bigjoint: I've been sharing a composte tea a friend brews it's been doing wonders. I just picked up some Budswell and will be adding tomorrow for the 1st time, day 15 of flower. I'm very interested in it's effectiveness, to be fair I'm using it on all off my garden.

Budswel is a great product. The liquid probably should be used within a year or two of opening it. IMO the dry is well worth it because the Guano Co. takes steps to ensure the guanos never see the light of day and thus remain more bioactive. I also agree if you know what you are doing with AACT there is no need to pay the high price for a premade tea input. It is much cheaper to buy the ingredients separately and source high quality ones to bubble. Guano teas def bring out the flavor and stack on good dense nugs too.

I also use the liquid budswel in flowering. I love the stuff. Like was said earlier, it goes great with the biocanna line. I start at week 2-3 in flowering. My heavy feeders; jAckpot royale, slhaze, NYC diesel, get 2 tbs/gal during week6. Light feeders (bubba kush) burn at 2 tbs, as I found out the hArd way... Lol. I only feed 1 tbs to her from now on. Yes you can burn your plants with it too. I was trying to push her a little bit too hard.

I'd be interested to hear how you guys use it.

It worked like a charm to help my bulking/phos def issues in my biocanna run. 1 gal has lasted me forever. Around 2 years but I only just started using it a lot recently. Well worth the price, though brewing my own teas is feasible, I'm not exactly sure how to implement it into my regimen. So I keep it simple and use liquid budswel.

I topdress @ 1st day flower with 2TBS per 5gal plant. A little extra phos boost somewhere in between week 3 & 5 (i figure? by the time it works its way down/breaks down) Anyways it fits in well and easy to do.

I no longer use it in my teas, i simplified my teas and alternate with nute feedings. Lots of ways to skin the cat :D

I had a buddy use it with some flora stuff and had omega yields. Thats what got me back into using it, lol. Though I always tell people who have 1 great run to repeat it before they set it in stone. :P

thanks izoc , I def. aerate my res with budswel and compost teas. I don't think you absolutely need to use aeration for budswel but def. the compost teas. I have a few pics of the avatar set up . Its my current grow. Thanks for the rep , pm me if you need help or have any questions.
Humbling experience viewing those 2 pics, thank you for sharing those. I recently became an air pot convert, so to see this well managed co2 nourished grow is a treat.
I'd noticed that even though you have, apparently, plenty of space available, your conservation of space is noted. Well done.

No, probably not. I know a lot of people that use sunleaves and do fine. If it works for you don't change it.

Happy to be called to task if this is wrong, but I've been having good results with BudSwell between feedings.
I use drain to waste, so about every 3 day I feed, next time it's dry, I feed only BudSwell with ph bal H2O.
It doesn't make for gorilla agressive grows, but it sure makes the girls look healthy, well maintained. Never any issues with saltz or whacky ph lvls. Time or harvest quantity is of little concern for me. I try to focus on quality, not needing steroid looking budds. Just the ones that talk with God <eg>

The local store is discounting Budswel - 50% off. However, even at 50% off it is nearly twice the price of the other brands of high phosphorous bat guanos. I've used Budswel sparingly over the years and have always been satisfied with the results. But I have never tested it against other comparable guanos or, most importantly, a control plant.

Budswel has been around a long time. Has anybody here directly tested it against other high P guanos or other fertilizers?

I am still currently using Budswel. Great stuff BTW. But I tried out some Roots Organics HP2 0-4-0 and that stuff is some really good stuff also. It contains just guano though. Only reason why I tried it was because the hydro store I went to ran out of the Budswel and he gave me a 20% discount on the Roots Organics. Cut to the chase, those are both great products to use as far as guanos go but budswel cost about 10 dollars cheaper by the gallon. I get mines by the 5 gallons so that doesnt apply to me but if they give the Roots Organics with the sale price i get it last time, I will get it. Here's a bubba kush i grew using Budswel. And believe me, i have had this same pheno for over 2 years and the crystal production really came out compared to when I didn't add it to my nute lineup.SAM_1267.jpg

The only thing wrong with budswel and that roots product is that they are just teas made with the guanos you can get at the same store but they cost a lot more :) Great looking plant still something to be said for convenience i don't mix my own teas a lot mainly for that reason... a lot easier to get it out of a bottle ;)
