Thanks UB, very kind of you. Trust me, if I had any ground level enough to swing a golf club, we'd have broken some windows by now! Hope your growing them well this year!
 
Week 15

The front hedge is coming in nicely. Broke one branch at node on Kosher Kush trying to spread her branches out wider while she wants to go straight up. Taped it back and did some more stringing on her and she looks okay again. I won't push her so hard and am giving a little Silica just to make sure everything is as strong as I can make it. She shouldn't need silica but I shouldn't need to be taping branches back on either!

My tote is now full and have an extra 100 gallons stored for 375 gallons total available. Good feeling! Last pic shows the path I have to carry water up if/when I run out, and this is after hauling it up two flights of stairs in the house from the basement RO container. I think it approximates carrying stuff to the top of a 4 story building.

Hot tub under repair and hoping to get her fired up for first time this weekend!

beautiful place bugeye! ya looks like gravity is not your friend in this case.I would probably get drunk and fall right off your mountain to my death. my chocolope split right at the base of the stalk the split was about 5 inches long I thought it was dead for sure. I wrapped floral tape around it and tied it to a dowel. it healed up within a few weeks didnt even phase the plant no wilting no nothing. It is smaller than the rest so it might have affected it a little ill know for sure when she buds out.

Bro that looks like paradise. Looks like you've really put in a lot of hard work to put that all together - but I bet it's worth every minute spent

Thanks ayr0n. It was a tremendous amount of fun and a little hard work to get the gh built and working good. Was high the whole time but as simple as ABC - Always Be Carrying. Too many loads to count...
 
Its a nice zenden in the middle of paradise. It would be nice to have a gravity feed in that situation. I dont think you could drive a well up there though. I only have to go about 20 feet to hit fresh clean water here. 375 gallons! I bet your back hurts.

Oh, you misunderstood, I have 375 gallons of rainwater off the greenhouse roof! That is what will save me from carrying water for a good bit! Haven't had to carry yet this season. Carried my whole first season when I tried to have a go at it outdoors and it was tough.

Yes, properties for sale. You notice a lot more "for sale" signs on the northern facing slopes, everyone wants southern facing. We get a good laugh in winter when our driveway is bare dry and the guys across the canyon from us have a foot of frozen ice!
 
Signs of flowering on 5 of the 6 (stretching and fresh female parts at every node). A little earlier than noted last year. Front hedge girls are right where I want them and I may have issues with all 3 on the floor getting too big for space but I'm just along for the ride at this point. Will adjust start time next year as needed. None of my stems are sticky and smell is still minimal. Serving up a tea in the morning.

It changes depending on where I'm at in the grow cycle and what I'm seeing in the plants. First couple teas in the spring were 5 gallons RO water, 5 tsp cal/mag, 2 cups fresh worm castings, 5 TBS unsulphered molasses, a little rock dust, brewed for 36 hours, myco fungi added in last 10 minutes of brew. Normally in veg I start adding in some items with more nitrogen like kelp meal, but this year my soil was running hot on nitrogen so I didn't. Last brew was the above with a couple TBS of fish emulsion, Big Bloom, soluble kelp extract, and organic 5-5-5. Cut it with an equal part of rainwater when applied.

I've got one girl that just started to show a little fading on bottom interior fan leaves so I'll give her a little extra 5-5-5 when I water this week.

I used the The Rev's TLO recipe's for both dirt and teas last year and had my most healthy grow ever. This year I just amended the soil and I'm doing some modifications to his tea recipes.
 
The Rev has very much inspired myself and @DonTesla. Our methods are loosely based on his teachings and we communicate via email from time to time. He is a really down to earth guy and was nice enough to send us some seeds out of his personal stock. We had a hard time sourcing all of the amendments he uses as well as the Big Bloom for teas but overall have done alright. Did you have a thread for last year?

Yes, sourcing everything on the ingredients list for his soil was indeed challenging! I still use the spike recipes and do a little layering as well. I recommend the book to any mj grower looking to go organic. Once that soil is blended and cooked, the hard part of growing good weed is truly over.

Pretty cool of The Rev to hook you up with seeds!
 
I imagine how it's exciting to leave your house to go to greenhouse and smoke a pipe, listen to music and enjoy the view.
