building 4x4 ten...Need help with Fan set up

Ok i am finishing up my 4x4 tent and i am not sure best way to set up my fun and filter sistem ...
there is not that much space inside ...

Diminator xxxl hood reflector
RVK L1 6inch
Rhino 150-600 filter
filter and fan inside or outside ...blowing filtered air to hood into the tent or puling filtered air through hood outside

Starting on the RH side of the back of your tent and moving to the left: Filter then fan then duct curved back ri thru light then exhaust. It works great. I'm high so I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. This is on the inside of your tent of course. IRH...

Do you have room outside your tent? If so then you suck through your hood ...run that duct out the tent..... into the fan and filter.
This way your shit is outside giving more room.
If you really want to have the filter first then you can place it out side tent and then through the hood and back outside to the fan.

However if your hood isn't sealed airtight then you would be blowing smell...

ok so i put it inside...filter and fan together blowing air through hood outside???

hmm my tent is in my converted garage....its small coz i use it as utility room...but should be ez to control odor ....filter outside connected to hood and hood conected to fan outside sucking air ??? sounds good....and for inside tent i can use just normal everyday fan to circulate air open bottom of tent for fresh air i guess

just an id...what if i put filter and fun outside and i ll make it suck air from filter and blow it through hood and duct outside ???

Rofl. What the fuck is the point of a filter if it isn't INSIDE your tent sucking the stinky plants air through it?

well thats why i started this thread....coz i need advice... garage is really small so i thought it will clean stinky air plus 4x4 is not sou big id like to keep space .... so filter < fan< through hood< duck outside

Lets try this, FILTER -> LIGHT -> DUCT->FAN(outside tent) -> DUCT (out /Silencer). Air is like rope, pulling is least energy. Pulling air across your light will keep the light cool, and the filter will keep it smelling fresh. If you have no room inside the tent place the exhaust fan outside the tent and connect with a shortest duct possible, and run the fan duct output through a silencer and another duct out the space alltogother will make a nice cool tent for your ladies. peace

But air walker said its no good to pull hot air ...bad for Fan and it will kill it...I am using RVK L1 its big fan...
i was going to put filter inside tent in corner duck it to hood and hood duck to outside fan....to pull air ...but like Airwalker said its no good...so i am lost now

Pulling air is recommended not pushing air. Air handler systems work this way, My setup is just like I described and it has worked great for more than ten years with no failures or complaints. I used to use 600W HPS and now I use LED's. I saw what AirWalker said, but I am just letting you know the most efficient way. Filter connected to light, connected to duct, connected to fan connected to exhaust. most efficient use of power. Air either hot or cold is best pulled not pushed. Think of air like rope, no matter how hot the rope gets it is still easier to pull it than to push it. All hot iar is just that to be gotten rid of, and never to be used again, unless you are recycling, and in that case, I would send it to be reused. peace

best to place the filter high to create the best passive intake effect. Also filters last longer when you filter the smelliest air, and let the fresh air circulate first.

i guess 10yr experience is something... its so hard to pick right way coz every one is doing it differently

my hood is taking so much space i cant hang filter 150x600 , u can see it in pick

Airwalker16 meant that warm air kills the filter quicker.
However If your hood isn't 100% airtight then it does no good to put the filter before the hood. My cool tube is awesome but when I added anot her light with a standard glass lense, it picked up smell..

Pulling is more efficient but if you pull air through your hood and out the tent to your fan and from the fan as directly and short as possible, pushing into your filter won't be a problem
