holy shit bro, I'm afraid to even start reading all that.

hey did u get through your court shit yet? how'd it all turn out

well attics are the hardest to convert ...........if he could a basement would be much better plus a higher rate of Co2 naturally

nope the court shit is still in the air for me i got something on the 12th ..........waiting for them to give me my discovery pack still .......they still have the charges listed as 33 grams ..........they are trying to play me and freak me out with all this delay tactics ........once they change the charges to the weight of what the smokeable stuff is it will drop completely they over charged me and skip the lesser charges so unless they can prove it ....it is a dead case ....i find out on the 12th if they really want to go to court with a trail or if they will drop it do to lack of a case (if they offer public intoxic and personal poss i will take a deal ) but no felonies

@justugh Thanks for probably the only useful advice at this point. And you gave me a lot of things I never thought about (hence, the point of this thread). Heres what Im thinking: I'm going to vent in the air from an upstairs room during the winter and from a downstairs room during the summer. This should solve the heat/cool issue.

1. Cover the area that I will be using in the plastic sheeting (just finished actually).
2. Put down 2x4s in that area. I 3. Vent the pipes as stated above.
4. Will complete tomorrow, with more thought.

it might work in the winter time because of the heat raise in the house that will natural pass some heat into the area ,,,,,,,,,,,,,i am telling u now summer time will be no good unless u install a fairly strong one 10000 btu (summer time u have the heat from the house coming up and the heat of the day collecting on the black tar tiles on your roof ) temps in attics in summer commonly get to 130 or higher

if u plan for a summer grow u should just invest into the portable AC/heater units

something like that would do fine in up to a 8x8x6 (maybe a 10x10x6) anything smaller u have no worries ................it will cover 3 things for u but still might need a humidifier (winter time air gets dry)

i do have good news for u since u are High up u do not need to worry to much about a carbon filter ........for every 20 feet u go up from ground lvl the wind speed increases by 10 mph .....so if the ground is a nice 2 miles where u are venting from is 12 miles with the height and wind speed the smell will be spread out fairly nicely and quickly

do not forget to bug bomb and lay poison outside your tented area ............other wise u will have bugs

@justugh I only have the one outlet but that's all I've been using so far. I am only pulling about 400 watts, and will maybe use 550-600 tops with the new space. Im only looking to run during the three seasons so I should be fine with the temperature. Im just going to run 2 6" fans to really move the air to keep the temperature and humidity the same as in the house. I'm thinking I will do the sheeting, mylar, and r30 insulation for the grow space. That should eliminate any of the temperature, humidity, air quality, etc issues. I will definitely bomb the attic and put down traps. This project is getting held up by 3 months or so this will give me plenty of time to figure everything out and to read more of these ridiculous responses. Im surprised the mods allow this shit, definitely leaves a bad taste. If I was really new here I'd definitely stop coming back. And less members means less advertising revenue for the owner of this site.

@paramountads

depending on what u are running at the time ........ soil is going to be a more stable grow medium ....hydro system u might need a water chiller and if u are only running 400 to 600 watts total that is a very small grow (my light alone is 400w in the veggie tent in my flowering i have 700 watts in lights )

i run 2000w to 3000w if i am drying .........this is full bore running spourt section veggie tent and flowering tent plus a drying tent ......and this is soil if i am hydro u are looking 4000 range with the air/water pumps and chillers

rem hydro grows u can not run them all off the same system veggie needs it own flower needs it own so double the cost in equipment
