I have recently built a 16'' x16'' x20'' growbox to start this years seedlings of outdoors in. I plan on having about 20 plants to start (because i'm starting from seed and i dont know their sex)

If i was to have 2 seedlings in those 16oz party cups and have 20 in the box would i beable to grow them from mid april to the last week of may without having to transplant?

Oh. by the way i am using 5- 23watt cfl's to light them. and i use 2 cpu fans for exhaust with a passive intake.. other than that the box stays air tight and light tight..

Help is greatly needed.. thanks

You will end up with tangled roots. They will be hard to separate when you are ready to plant outdoors. Better one seed per container.

i dont need to untangel them.. i have a 10- 15gallon hole set up.. they are unsexed so i wiludlinke to have at least one female per hole. that's why i'm doing 2 seedlings per hole

1 seedling per cup and 10- however many cups you could fit in there would be ideal

you may want more light by april....

alright.. i know this sounds like a noobie question.. but it's my first 2nd outdoor gro and my first serious one.. but i've been reading about bugs eating leaves.. with one month of veg. would the plants be growing fast enough to out compete the bugs?

That will depend on the grow envoirnment. Optimal temps (75f ish) good air circulation and good humidity. You may want to veg them at least until they can survive the transplant. I am doing the same with my tomatoes. Veg under flouros and then transplant outdoors in May.
