Bulb died, am I screwed?

Hey all, it's been a while

Anyhow, returned home today to find that my babys were unexpectedly left in the dark for an unknown amount of time (checked in on them roughly ~20hrs prior) after my MH bulb died.
They were under a 600w MH and I had an extra 400w MH laying around so I switched adjustable ballast down to 400w and popped it in, now they are back under 24hr light.

Does anybody have experience with this happening? Will this sort of random, though only 1 time, light schedule fluctuation screw up the whole batch with hermies?

If you were in flower it would perhaps cause some stress but I'd still think you'd be okay. In flower you need to worry when you go from dark to light unexpectedly.

You should be just fine. A one time light change shouldn't affect them. Repeated light changes will.

Highly unlikely you will see any adverse affects. They won't skip a beat. JAS
