bulb output (lumen) on digital ballast

was wondering if anyone with a light meter has measured what the light output is with digital ballast set to 250w or closest to 250 on a 600w bulb
or 600w setting on a 1000w bulb etc

600w bulbs are more efficient lumen wise 250w are among the lest efficient
so does running a 600w bulb at 250w produce more lumen than running a 250w bulb at 250w lol
if so what kind of difference ?

peace

Well... youd have use 50/75% numbers. So a 600, and a 300, or 450. A 1000w would break down to 750/500.... These are odd wattages... And also, if someone IS performing this test, do you also have a kill-a-watt, so we can know the power consumption as well. I like data's...

Running a 250 on 600 is pointless imo...i run a switchable 600/400 ballast and it says on the leaflet do not run the 400 watt on the 600 watt switch or visa versa...you will burn your bulb twice as fast ....250 to 250 would be more eficent than 250 on 600...
