Ok so lately i've been keeping my plant outside its a little baby and the weather has been terrible here with rain and thunder storms so i want to bring it inside its in a dixie cup so i need some good advice for soil, and transplant, nutes, light bulbs , watts all that beautiful stuff, any ideas on good product im only growing one plant so need to make it worth thanks any help i hope is good help

If it is healthy in the soil outside and you are going to be using nutes, there is no reason you cant use that soil.
Id say a 150w CFL with a 12/12 light cycle would keep its stress levels pretty low, then any NPK nute mix you want (id suggest 7/4/3 ratio) with any added minute minerals/nutes is a good choice.

Shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg and will provide a nice home

im not sure outside is the place you want a plant of that size to be especially if you plan on growing inside. you could bring mites, fungus spores and all kinds of other nasty shit into your grow room where you dont want it. you can get a $10 flurosecent shop light for clones and seedlings so you can just keep them anywhere you have room indoors. why grow 1 plant? you can efficently grow 4 to 6 in a small space just as easy and really make it worth your while. if your set on one plant though get a HID light with a smaller wattage and interchangable bulbs( MH for veg HPS for flowering ) maybe something like 150w or 250w.

BALLAST/BULBS - it depends on the size of your growing space. in general i think a 400w will light a 2x4 area just fine for all phases of growth. if you plan on having just one room for veg & flower you can get a 400w HPS ballast w/ a 400w interchangable MH bulb that way you only need 1 ballast.

NUTES- get a good balanced potting soil. if you start with a good quality potting soil you will reduce your need to fertilize as often. i use a potting mix i created that feeds for 30+ days so usually from seed i only feed high N fertilizer maybe once, maybe. then use a bloom nute. fox farms, earth juice, roots organics, & advanced nutrients products all make excellent products. if your interested in the soil mix i use pm me and ill post it.

idk im not trying to spend alot of money i was going to get a 1000w but that shit is ridiculous expensive so i am think the 400w hps idk though my glower is sprouted out but really hasnt moved much since the rain came so i want to get it into arnold mode i got them from a pretty good strain its just looking like a lil pussy though lol, since i am going to bring it inside is their anything i can trust to use to clean my plant?? thanks

i have used einstein oil but their are other things you can use. look around for a miticide/fungicide dip or use the einstein oil it is a neem based product. if you have a local grow shop they can hook you right up.

and what do you ppl suggest on my lighting its still outside plant but i dont know what to do when i bring it in, do i need a ballast, should i put foil on the walls around it to reflect the light, i have a fan to keep on it, what temperature should i keep it at, and i have a plastice 5 gallon bucket from home depot is that big enough and how many holes do i put in it for the water to drain out? i saw someone who used a bag instead of a bucket. thanks again peeps.

i would wait until you see roots in the drain holes then transplant. seedling looks healthy though. be careful feeding seedlings. they dont need much during their first few weeks just a good soil like ocean forest and youll be good for at least 3 weeks.

it could be damping off. if you suspect youve been overwatering and its been warm in your area thats perfect conditions for fungal attacks. i think your lighting should be good as long as the temps arent too high and you have some ventilation. another thing you may want to consider is the fertilizer. on 10/21 you posted that you used grow big and now on 10/23 this is going on. what kind of soil are you using right now??? this could be the problem and would make sense since seedlings need small amounts of nutrients in the first stages of life.
