How old are your plants? Just about any light will work for a very short time, then the pain sets in, and everything is a total loss. Do you know the wattage?

you can use compact flourescents, high pressure sodiums for flowering, and metal halide are usually used for veg. but will work for flowering also.

ok .. u can use ....

Flourescents..t-12....t-8....t-5... w/e u want...

Compact Flourescent(CFL)..to many different types to use ...but the most widly common one that u runn into on these threads when ppl use CFLs to grow are .. 26w cool white and warm.. or 42w... and there are the few out there that use enviormentals cfls .. IMO i tihnk thet shud use mh or hps ....

Metal Halide(MH)-Mainly used for vegging ...b/c it puts more of the blue spectrum that the plants use while they vegg.....BUT you can use for flowering .. i kno ppl that do it and ive done it b4...

High Pressure Sodium(HPS) Mainly used for Flowering...b/c it puts out more of the red/orange spectrum that the plants use during the end months of the year....BUT u can use it thorughout the whole grow i want/need ..

THe lights ur using now ....are inadequate ... use shop lights (t-12) if u are trying not to spend money ... also ...

what is ur gow room dimensions ... what srain is it ....what kind of soil .. are u sing nuets? .. alll things that need to be looked at to .. many other things .. u need to plan before u grow ... or u grow to fail(quote from AL.B.fuct. 8-))

and also pics wud help us help u...

DONT GET RID OF THE UVB light.....use it in conjunction with your other light. UVB lighting is great for supplemental purposes.

UVB rays has been showed to increase taste, resin & trichome production

hell yes!

do the hand test.... place the back of your hand inbetween the light and your plants.....if its too hot for you...then its too damn hot for your plants.
