Bummed out...

I was really hoping to clone my white widow today, but its outdoor crop and its raining, dont want to walk all the way out there in the rain, and umbrella would be to noticeable, guess I will just have to wait till tomorow

By the way, anyone know if rain is bad for outdoor plants? Its not pouring, not a sprinkle either, just regular rain. Havent watered in 2 days though, so shouldnt be bad. Just curious about this.

i dont think think a lil rain will hurt them what with the nitrogen falling in the rain, long time ago thats how my brother watered his indor plants, he took them out on the patio when the news called for rain. Im kinda new tot he hobbie so take it for what its worth but i think they'll be fine

No rain won't hurt then. That just save's you a trip to water your self. Let it rain let it rain less work for me.

If it's raining chances are there is no one else in the wood's. I love the rain. keep's the average person in the house, unless they have something really important to do.

lol good point shaman, but its suppose to rain till tomorow... and its been raining for about 10 hours already... any chance it could overwater my plant?

rain is your friend dude, well until the last for weeks of flower of course, but even then a little rain won't do major harm really always keep in mind that rain will help you to, you don't have to run up there every day to water, and that again helps to keep the grow hidden

that is way you should dig your seedlings in strait away but rather pre-grow them somewhere else, if that is your basement/closet or a greenhouse hidden in your yard or grow area.

it is also a good reason for preparing your ground with some soil that will help to drain the water away from the pants to a certain level

that could be done by adding sand to the soil if you got heavy clay, just as a cheap example

Green, have you seen my gallery? My plants our outdoors but in an "earthbox" have you ever heard of one of those? Some guy in florida invented it, its gaining popularity everywhere, awesome setup, but since my plant is in a pot outdoors do you think it could flood it? I mean its been raining for a long time. Overall Id say when it stops it will prolly be about.. 20 hours of rain.. like light, then medium, then light, then none for an hour, then medium, then medium heavy, then light, then none, then light, etc.

humm ok I just got back from my buddies house rain dosnt seem to be a problem, however.. the white widow plant is losing all of its leaves, and most are turning yellow. However it is also starting to bud, so it may just be natural, but im not sure seems to have lost alot of leaves, purple widow plant however, that is in the same " earthbox " ( see gallery for pictures ) is doing perfect, and the purple bud is coming in great now. Hopefully it will stop raining by tomorow, and I can get you guys come pictures, so its easier to help me out. Thanks a bunch : )
