Burnt My Seedlings

Light burned my 3 seedlings...They are fastbuds runtz auto's....They are 9 days old at this point and coming out of it after I turned my light down...Are they stunted beyond help at this point? Dint want to waste the next 3 month's if these little girls are fucked from the start!

Should I just start over?

roots are more critical at this stage than the leaves. i've had a fair amount of seedlings look sick, and if you do not have other seeds then let those continue. If the roots are good, it'll be dandy and growing within a few days....if it hasnt started looking healthier and growing within 10-14days, start over it wont make it

You'll be fine. They're way more resilient than you think. I burned mine too, I over watered, I transplanted late, I gave them too much light, I had nutrient lock out. You name it, I've done it. They're still doing what they do and have some good buds happening. Your first grow should be done with the assumption that the thing you'll get out of them the most...is knowledge for your next grow.

Give them a week. If they don't get better then I'd start new seeds. That's just because they're auto's. If they were photoperiod I'd say just ride it out until they get better. But with auto's those can start flowering in a few weeks and it's a waste of time flowering a 6 inch auto.

You're growing indoors with a light on a timer. Why are you growing auto's to begin with?

I asked myself that question last night! I done my first run outdoors this summer raising 3 different auto's...they all looked good...harvested at 12 and 13 week's dried at 63 degrees for 9 day's....then into Grove bag's the last 3 week's.....and it fucking sucks....this is my first indoor complete grow...so it is a learning experience...hlg 350r is a mean ass light in a 2x4 tent!

Auto's are great outdoors for many people with short growing seasons. But when you can manipulate the environment indoors you're better off just growing photoperiod. There are exceptions as some do perpetual grows in one tent, toss one in the veg tent, etc... But if you're just running one crop at a time photoperiods are the way to go. More control. Auto's are not really auto except for initiating flower without concern for daylight hours. That's of no benefit when you're growing indoors with a light on a timer that takes a few seconds to switch to 12/12 to put the plant in flowering mode.

Better genetics with photoperiod plants. Some will disagree but I'm not even going to argue the point.

I don't think your light was the problem. They've had too much & many nutrients given to them.

I generally order from North Atlantic seed company....I know very little about the breeders....from their website who would be a good breeder to order some photos from....Or steer me in the direction of another us based seed company....other than ilgm
