Each plant had a 68watt cfl on em but one almost melted :0 so the far left is a led bulb for vegative growth whilst the ladies undergo flowering cycle till I get a new bulb. I don't seek huge yields, only gaining my experience while having fun!

They don't need to alter their genes to produce bananas, most strains available can do that by changing their genetic expression. Think of it like changing to a more masculine phenotype. It'll still be a female indeed. Stressing is one of the methods used to identify and weed out the hermies.

Anyway, you should make babies with one of the hermaphobists, if the results are somewhere in the middle, we'd be making some progress in the next generation of the human pool. Can't breed out intersex traits entirely, perhaps we can breed out hermaphobia instead.
