The hydro industry is as about as corrupt as they come. Perhaps meth dealers have less ethics but let's face it even Monsanto looks good against these cretins. They've known for years they are selling highly suspect shit and continue to sell Superbud under the counter and now Bushmaster, Gravity, Phosphoload, Flower Dragon, Top Load, Boonter Bud (UK), Rox (UK), Rock Juice (Aus) and other such shit will just go under the counter so greedy scumbags can profit. Fact is though Uncle Ben there are some ethical hydro store owners but not many. Sunlight Supply are the pricks that have been pushing this garbage to the hydro industry and they are the largest wholesaler in the US. Then Ikon International has been peddling this garbage to the UK and Europe and they are the largest wholesaler in that part of the world. These pricks would try to tell you they have no idea what is in these products but then they are lying pond scum who know damned well what they are selling. Ikon used to sell Superbud when the shit hit the fan over that poison and they had to issue a recall. Then the pricks take on Flower Dragon years later from the same dirt bag who was selling them Superbud (ex Dutchmaster employee Steve Berlow). Oh yeah course they couldn't figure it out!?? Go figure!! Growers should boycott any company that is behind this shite. That simple.

This is not strictly true. The EPA states there is no data meaning that there is an unknown quantity associated to the use of PBZ. I.e.

Seems to me there is a heap of things they don't know and a few they do know.
The thing is with a lot of chems some were once deemed safe and used for years before problems arose and it became apparent that what was thought safe was actually unsafe for use (eg. Agent Orange, DDT etc). There has also been no combustion tests or withholding period tests re cannabis with PBZ so really what you have is one big unknown factor. http://www.epa.gov/iris/subst/0182.htm Oh and its "Daminozide" which is listed as a "probable human carcinogen" and banned for use in any consumable crop in1989. Flower Dragon contains Daminozide as does Phosphoload and Top Load. Either way only a scum bag no nothing grower would use these products now knowing what they contain.

The key difference here is that PBZ is used on mangoes at budset and fruit are harvested months later. In a short term decidious crop (cannabis) it is used weeks before harvest so the clearing times are very different. The key question is that if a smoker is subjected to long term exposure what is the outcome? No one can tell you this as no one has actually even tested withholding let alone researched long term exposure to PBZ residues.
Didnt realize this thread was still alive. The point of the thread wasnt wether or not it was bad for you etc. It was wether or not it worked for its intended purpose which it does ... period . Unclue Ben made it out to be snake oil, nothing more. Wouldnt accept any proof from anyone. The stuff very CLEARY works and works well. Yeah they were full of sh*t about it only containing kelp extracts etc. We all figured as much. What mattered and the whole point was, it works. You can still get the stuff shipped to you in ca from a lot of sites and they never pulled it from the shelves either at ANY hydro store. Its also very cheap for how concentrated it is. You need VERY little. 1ML per gal in hydro is plenty or 1 teaspoon per gallon. You can make your own but this stuff is cheap anough and PROVEN to work so get over it already haters.

Even funnier is Unclue Ben was making his own snake oil last I heard . In fact he posted something that cost maybe half of bushmaster. I then posted how to make it for about 10% of the cost he was spending. Of course he attacks with all kinds of crazy stuff about it not being labled correctly or some nonsense like that. Clearly he doesnt care about the PGR being in there . First he was all about it being snake oil with nothing in it at all usefull for us. Now that he finds out it has the PGR in it he claims to have thought it had in it all along, he somehow tries to twist it into the whole "evil lying industry" blah blah blah. Some people take this whole growing thing WAY too serious ...... Are some nutes overpriced ? Yes. Do most of them work? Yes. Some people want to save a buck, some dont care, others find a happy middle ground. Live and let live damn ...... Some people have such a chip on their shoulder they will argue and attack people no matter what. I have seen this same exact kind of BS on medical forums, car forums and pretty much any forum you can think of. Probably same kind fo stuff in sewing forums or pet forums .... some people just have to know EVERYTHING and make damn sure to let everyone else know this fact. Some people need to relax and actually smoke their home grown meds instead of acting like bitter old men.

Seen every Hydro Store in the state have you? Because in all your chestpounding glory you're bloody well wrong , they yanked it off shelves all over NorCal. Don't even bother making an attempt to argue the point.
And of course since it contains what it does your point on whether it's effective or not is rather moot , if shouldn't be used period , unless you're just a cash-cropper with zero in the way of ethics who doesn't care about the downstream effect og what he utilises........I guess for that lot it's " just dandy".....
And by the way folks...........you can't utilise it on food crops and the individual who claims " it's been used in tomatos and grapes for years."............bring some PROOF of that claim , 'cause I've been in CommAg in one or another capacity for a long time and NEVER seen a SINGLE instance of it being utilised as you make claim of.
One word..................bullshit. Bring your proof of the above. And it better not be " I heard". Because guess what clown it's contraindicated and prohibited as regards usage on consumables.
