Busted buying seeds online

I don't think you need to be concerned legally. Seed companies have always been cool with me and resent or reimbursed, even if I did not buy the insurance.

From what I understand is they would try prosecuting the sender. And it's not cost effective for them so they drop it there

The scumbags that took my seeds about 5 years ago on an attitude order ..they drew a sad face on the package inside.

0 concern about the customs interception, you didn't order them anyways. Shame someone else used your address.

Yeah, that sucks. It happened to me ordering from Herbies earlier this year. Got the letter, took of pix of it, sent to Herbies, and they sent me (stealth) a new order. Fuck the feds. They won't come after ya, they know they're fighting a losing battle anyway it keeps them employed. A win-win for all of us.

I had this happen to me before, except they didn't destroy the seeds.

Package came all tore up and taped back together with a pink notice stating something along the lines of "customs found your package suspicious and had to open it for inspection". It was a t-shirt with a few original breeder packs tucked inside.

Either they didn't see the seeds after pulling the shirt out and crumbling it all up (unlikely), or they simply opened it, saw what the seeds were, then put them back in and mailed it on.

I have a ton of strains from over the years. I have some Afghan Diesel that is killer. I think alot of us on here do seed trading. If you have anything kool let me know.

I don't like pollen in my house, too risky with so many females in bloom... But in 4 months when the weather starts to warm up im gonna pollinate a tent in my garage..be happy to swap some beans..ill hit ya up in April.

ROFL, paranoia is a killer. A case for what? The OP did not receive anything, the shipper is technically the one who sent them and as such the one legally responsible. If there were anything they could do they would have done it and not sent him the standard form letter.
