i know penalties vary, but in the US and UK what would the punishment be for less than 3 plants in your home?

In the UK, you will usually get a small fine, unless you have previous.

However, they could give you prison time in theory, and it is more likely that they will if they can prove intent to supply. In other words, ditch any scales and weed bags, and you will be a bit safer if the worst happens.

There does seem to be a bit of a "postcode lottery" going on in the UK, with punishments varying wildly from one area to the next, and dependent on things like whether the judge got laid recently etc.

I wouldn't worry too much though. Just keep things low-key, don't say anything to anybody, control odours, and don't get into trouble for any reason other than growing.

Anything from having your plants taken away with no charges ever filed to loosing your house and spending time in jail.

its always the case mate , ur stuck in a bad postcode u dont get ur meds through the nhs , u wiat years for operations , finaly come up with a plan to ease ur suffering a bit and u get made a fuckin example of.
think its about time we take control of our fuckin country again - dont they see its the illeagal factor that brings the crime into it , were a tiny wee island, weve thousands of farmers still paid not to grow nothin . .
and import more drugs than ur average hospital - might i add the only related death was to a customs officer attempting to stop drugs being brought into the country.
farmers of the land - grow hemp , even if its just for kindling and insulation coz fuck me its getting colder
