Since I have been here there was only one case that I know of where RIU was used and it was a pissed off girlfriend that went to the cops and used his grow journal to show the cops he was growing, they got a warrent and he got arrested, the thread had a link to a news paper article detailing the RIU website being used as evidence

Morale of the story, being here is safer than pissing off your girlfriend

And the cops can do anything they want under the new patriot act it is a felony (conspiracy) to discuss a felony (growing MJ is a felony under fed law) SO by that law it is a crime to discuss growing and that being said they are not busting anybody here

Sticky mango got busted in Florida and was linked to RIU,He told everyone his handle and where he was from.In the end it had to be a buddy or wife that got him or the fact that he was growing in a rental apartment complex with no carbon filter.Your safe here if you watch what you post about personal info..I think Rolli deleated stickies mangos threads, Im not really sure...peace

The real danger is your computer itself. If they bust the door down and get your computer with photos, web history, journals , quantities and such, they have you by the short and curlys. Some states have tax stamp bullshit laws where if they find evidence of produced MJ, they can fine you and/or jail you for tax evasion. Al Capone fell because of taxes.

the cops could probably do anything they wanted to if they wanted you that bad .. as far as RIU. look at what we're working with here... most are new growers with questions about micro grows or larger grows that aren't exactly supplying their whole county with weed ... the guys that have fields or HUGE grow ops are probably medical, or are keeping themselves under the radar properly and taking proper precautions that the cops can't trace a their commercial crops back to them.
If a cop got on RIU and wanted to bust you what would he find??? and how easy did you make it for him?? is what you should ask yourself. if you're on here talking and showing pictures of a warehouse full of weed ,and then stating in your profile that you live in small town USA and your providing the whole community with medicine illegally. They'll find you with or without RIU.
Cops are fucking assholes. But keep in mind. Some are not and you all know this.

This all falls into one category you guys and I'm talking about 'Word of mouth'.

If you tell one single person that your growing.. that's all it takes. If that person (especially an ex gf..wtf was he thinking) gets mad.. that's all it would take.. for the word to spread and eventually get into the ears of the wrong people.

My advice: Don't go around bragging to people about what your doing. as long as you keep your mouth closed about what your doing.. you'll be fine!!! But, most people can't seem to do that. Hence the reason they get/got caught you know.

anyhow, that's MO.

What a stupid thread... I guess weed does cause paranoia in some people... stop smoking if you are scared.

Can someone drop this thread? no one should even be putting the thought out there of "getting caught" if that is on your mind you shouldnt grow...

Yep! also, not sure if many of you are aware of this but I know for a fact, that in certain states.. or maybe in all states.. that.. they passed a law where, the cops can come knock on your door.. and if you were to answer it, if they have any suspicion that your doing something your not supposed to be doing.. then they have the right to enter your residence.. WITHOUT a search warrant. Seriously, this is no BS. I think its BS personally.. but what I'm saying and telling you isn't BS.

I just got back to the east coast, I was visiting some friends in Arkansas... and they were telling me about that law. He said Arkansas was one of the states that passed the law.. needless to say.. I didn't stay too much longer after he told me that. I bounced. LMAO..

but yeah, like I said, as long as you keep your mouth shut about what your doing.. and be careful, you won't get caught. Especially if your like me.. and only grow two maybe three plants at a time. I'm not worried about it.. besides.. I could eat the plants before any "authorities" had the time to get into my house.. I'll say that much.

I don't grow weed, I just like to get the maximum from my yearly tomato harvest, unfortunately tomatos arent seen as "cool" by society so I have to come on here and pretend to be badd as fuck, just to get the nescessary info to increase my yield. tells a sad story about the modern times we live in

So am not so worried about being arrested... right im off to get tomatoed off my face, watch tv and eat some motherfucking pizza x

the feds would wipe the ass with your license, because the us government doesnt care about the constitutional rights of the states and the line in the constitution about feds not being able to usurp the rights of the states....but who cares about any of that right?


the one and only good thing i think obama has done since being in office is 'claiming' the feds would no longer over ride states licenses, or target personal growers...but instead try to focus only on commercial growers...but that has no bearing on your local po-po

Find out how to remove the "EXIF" data from your photos according to whatever device you are using (the GPS location of where the photo was taken) and you're good to go.
If you are posting pics without removing this data then you deserve to get you're door kicked in!

i didnt realise it was possible to have that info stored in a pic? is this the casee with bog standard digi cameras???

most image capture devices store some kind of personal info in it's images, almost all mobile phones do it as standard.
find out how to remove it and you're good (better safe than sorry).

All the yanks on this site who feel safe with a medical card in there wallet really don't understand how easy they have it (untill marshall law kicks off).
In the U.K we have no medical provisions, a zero tolerence policy and the fact that our police forces rent helicoptors with FLIR cameras from the electricity companys on a daily basis.
Infact a few months ago i saw a documentory about the cannabis culture in England and they had a cop sat at a laptop using google earth to see if houses had excessive mold and damp on window frames, therefore must have excessive moisture and humidity in the house (growing).
This along with maybe a heat signature from a FLIR camera is enough to get a warrent and get your door kicked in.

In england a water cooled exhaust into a dead zone would stop me getting busted more than any laminated security blanket.

Think about what you are doing, stay one step ahead and don't believe a god damn thing your government tell you.
they all f**k it up in one way or another, it's just a case of what they spend the money we haven't got, on.
