buying new light tomorrow!!!!NEED HELP

i am buying a new hps sodium light tomorrow and i need to know what size to get for my space. 16 inches wide 6 feet long and 8 feet tall. i dont plan on ventilating but i can if i have to. my babies are 8 days old and i plan flowering them at a month old. well its a toss up between 250w and 400. i have six plants in 6" pots.

i would go with a 400

make sure its a combination one so you can use a MH bulb for veg then switch to a HPS to finnish off. a 400w would be ideal.

u will need to vent the light if u cant keep the temps in the 70s with the light on

Absolutely! The temps will go too high. I have a 250 watt HPS and the temp has a tendency to climb to the upper 80's if the fans are not on.
