C*stoms in California (shipping question)

Those from Cali, especially So Cal, can you post your experiences with ordering beans through the mail? Whats the best methods to select?

I have ordered a lot of things from overseas yet c*stoms always opens most of my packages. I've gotten the "letter" many times for ordering seeds and plants (not cannabis though). So I have this doubt in my mind about ordering because it seems c*stoms around the Los Angeles area is much more strict than anywhere else in the US from anecdotal evidence. I just need some reassurance...

Order from the Attitude. Never had any problems, plus if you choose stealth shipping they'll come wrapped in a shirt or in a mug.

Thanks. But like I said, c*stoms tends to open any package from overseas. If it's just wrapped inside a shirt, then that's not really "stealth" is it?
Do you know of any site that ships it in something like a sealed CD or DVD?

HMMMMM.
pickandmixseeds do a dvd cover thing but to be totally honest .....

How's a packet containing a T-shirt differ from one with a mug or DVD ... it doesn't say CANNABIS or SEED on it and is not in a clear package.. that means STEALTH.
It isn't just specifcally your area thats the issue it's what your ordering and how it's coming.
You say plants.... bigger than seed.. were they NOT suppose to be imported AND had packaging declaring or making visable by any chance what they may have been ?... NO STEALTH.
A few have not recieved seeds from either tude or pickandmix due to customs but that is just bad luck. Ordering from either or any company posses some risk how ever packaged.
You shouldn't really have an issue.
Maybe your personal addresss is now logged with customs :o J/k but possible.

THEN.....
Ask a friend if you can have sent to their address instead.. just to test. ;)
OR.... email seed bank, go mental DON'T mention customs, state never arrived, and most good banks will then replace (try sending you again) but sometimes(ALOT) they only resend once you've placed another order and resend out with that 1.

Another Idea if using TUDE......
Don't order at the beginning of the month.
Due to new offers at this period (tude known for em)..... MASS purchasing occurs... customs probabley expect between certain dates there to be an influx of certain shaped packages from the UK to be arriving. :o
Just a thought.... but don't let it breed any paranoia tho lol

Thanks. I checked pickandmixseeds and too bad they don't ship over my way. :( Those prices looked good too. :'(

As for the plants I ordere, one example is some plant bulbs for my aquarium on ebay from Asia. These are like the size of an walnut. The seller sent it in a padded envelope and marked it as a toy. But customs still opened up anyway and replaced the bulbs with that "letter" inside for plant material.

I have had really good luck ordereing seeds. I bought some from one of tga recommended sellers.some from nirvana. I just ordered some plushberry from the tude, My first order ever from them. Keeping my fingers crossed that my luck continues.

Thanks man. I went through TGA's list and ordered some seeds from Castle...funny thing is they charged me tax! WTF. I only ordered about 20 pounds worth, so its no biggie to me if it gets confiscated. I am just worried that I might get put on some no fly list/watchlist or something. lol

Get your card and look into the dispenseries in your area. Agood number of them carry seeds or clones for that matter.
