c02 during lights on or off?

I was thinking about mixing up a batch of yeast to use as a modest c02 generator.My current grow is outdoors
but at night I put them into a closet to keep them at 12/12. I think I read that the plants need the C02 when
lights are ON. Is this correct?

Bonus questions: Would a batch of yeast in say, an 8x8 in. brownie pan size be worth using for a grow that is half
an average closet (4x2x6ft ) ? Does yeast present a higher risk for mold?

Plants take in CO2 most during the day. Also you need to put your yeast concoction into a container that can be sealed and shaken to aggravate the yeast and release the CO2. This needs to be done about once a day.

lights on only, there is no need to add co2 at night as the plants are using very little

when you change the levels of o2 / co2 you need to make more food available also. i suggest adding a carbo additive like sweet to your plants this helps them adjust to processing higher levels of growth and food levels without stresssing them out.

I may have to use some of that on my current grow also- some of my plants are yellowing up the fan leaves and I'm not sure if they will last till harvest. another has reddish brown margins and I haven't been able to diagnose the problems even with help on this board on another.I guess I just didnt start building up their feeding tolerance gradually as I should have, and I let the soil run out of gas and didnt start feeding soon enough.I have fed them and am looking for a stoppage of the leaf damage. I am trying to get my issues worked out on this outdoor grow so that I don't flub up my upcomming indoor grow ,as I have heard it's a little harder to manage due to heat an such. I read and read and read, and then read some more. I post, I ask questions, but the conclusion I have come to is that you need to face the problems yourself, and deal with them to find out what things are and what works to fix them and what dosen't. There is no substitution for experience.
