CA state medical card?

so im planning on getting my dr.s recomendation from Medi Cann in about a month, but then how much extra is the CA state medical card going to run me?

got my card now, i just use the medicann card at dispensaries.

still dont know how much the state card is tho?

It's $150, $75 if you're on Medicaid. The ID card is completely voluntary. Your doc's recommendation is all you need to comply with the law.

$100-$175 depending where in CA and the doctor. Most are closer to $100 though.

i got my card through them 150 dollars i hear you can get them cheaper but i paid a little more & avoided the drive to the bay area

I sacked up the other night and asked a cop sitting next to me at a diner about the CA policies regarding medical MJ doctors recommendations and the state MJ ID cards. The cop told me that you HAVE to register through your county in order to be fully protected from MJ cultivation and possesion statues. He said that since they have no registered affiliation with the doctors and clinics you technically arent registered trhough the state health and safety board and thus you are subject to seizures and arrests. But then he told me that as long as Im being smart about it and he cant physically see it if he were to enter my house that I shouldnt worry and that I should be cool. I kept asking different questions and when he recieved a call and had to leave he simply said "don't worry so much man, its just weed." I love LA cops.

Can you go to MediCann and get a card without having a doctors recommendation? I have very bad hay fever and I struggle to sleep. But I have never seen a doctor in this country! Any advise or anyone know of any doctors that will write me a note on first consultation.
