Cabinet grow

I'm building a 3'x4' cabinet that will be 7' tall. I'm planning on having the bottom 3' for veg and mother. the top 4' for flowering. Will a 400 watt up a be good enough for flowering? And how many plants do you think I can flower in a room that size? Thanks for you help!!

yes that size of bulb would do fine in that space but your number one worry should be heat, I built myself a wooden grow cab over 8 years ago still use it to this day. my cab is 2.5 x2.5 started with 2 150s hps but way to hot I run 2 300watt led now and have perfect temps and lush harvests

Yes I'm gonna try to make sure its well ventilated couple of fans and a exhaust for nice clean air

Not to thread jack. But, I thought I'd show you my 104w grow cab. It's messy. It's half arsed. But it works.

The little blue thing on the top controls the light intensity, active channels. And on/off times.

Timers on the back control the exhaust and circulation fan.
