cable guy saw some shit!

as someone who used to work for cable and used to schedule these techs to come to people's houses, the moral of the story here is this: NEVER assume the cable guy will "only have to look at this one thing". even if it was really just your modem, most QA requirements involve checking all lines of service before leaving, whether there's a service issue or not. if he fixes your modem andd a week later your cable box craps out, that goes on the tech.

also, as someone who personally knows several cable techs, i can say with absolute certainty that your grow wasn't even the weirdest thing he saw that week. they see all sorts of shit and pretend they don't. honestly they are more scared of losing their job than anything, and keeping their eyes on their own paper is a big part of that. they don't want problems with anyone, they just want to do their work and go home.

if anything, if he's a scum he might try to rob you, but for reasons i already mentioned, that's unlikely. for all he knows you could be a drug lord armed to the teeth. all he cares about is that you don't tell his boss he didn't wear his OSHA booties.

i recently had a cable lady over. I had a pretty good idea she'd be in my grow room... So I moved everything to another room. However, there were still leaves on the floor... and my grow nutes on the shelf. She knew. Everything was fine.

you should have never let him in the basement..2 months back i had the cable guy over and he was trying to locate a cable to hook up the modem..he asked if he could go into the basement to trace a line,i said no,its rented to a friend and I dont have a key. He said ok and just ran a new line from the cable junction box and it was over and done with. I would think the cable guy would be more worried about saying anything and him knowing that you know who he is..i really dont think you have anything to worry about but as mentioned before...jail would suck

I highly doubt that this guy will say anything at all. Even if he does tell the police, their is still not enough evidence for them to do a search. Police must prove that they have additional information and evidence relating to the testimony against you for probable cause to be relevant.

At least that how I understand the law, I could be wrong. But I'm pretty sure I'm correct.

nobody (except the cable guy) knows I am growing and I will keep it that way and my grow room is 100% enclosed and secure, as long as I don't leave shit out in the open!!!!!

I used to work for a cable company and saw shit all the damn time. I wouldn't say anything if I saw things unless you where cooking meth but then again I am an easy going stoner. I am willing to bet the cable guy was behind on work because cable guys are always behind and the guy dosent have the time to report you.

Yeah I think danksmoker420 hit the nail on the head....I worked as a apartment maintenance man and cant even count ..how many times I saw someones stash or crop. Never even had a thought of making trouble for anyone....just did my work and got out.....dont worry b happy

The guy from Orkin came over to slack off and act like he was killing bugs. He saw my outdoor grow 8 plants , but I don't give a fuck. I live in a fucking fort so its chill.

I would worry more about a heist but not a single male plant.

I had to call a plumber a couple of weeks ago. Guy told me some funny stories of growers flushing their stems in toilets...trimming plants in bathtubs,clogging the line with leaf. I live in Cali so I am not a paranoid grower. Don't tell anyone is great advice. But in case my plumber got a nice nug for a tip.
