it shouldn't although your nutrient ratios could get off doing this. i usually top off with water and do a weekly res change to avoid that problem. but alot of people go a whole grow without changing res.
Yes that is correct. People keep insisting on using rockwool cubes in DWC. For me it's like asking for a problem to happen. Low DO will cause so much problem and is the most prominent issue in Hydroponics I think.

I use the croutons Wastei there is plenty air in them. The more I think about this situation I think my EC may be to high @1.2 - 1.3 and causing lockout and sporadic PH drop. Although my PH has never been below 5.5 it has never been higher than 6.0 for any length of time. I am going to try it at 6.2 - 6.4 adjusting a few times a day if necessary hopefully this will correct the CA deficiency.
