can i just purchase these products in dry form from local market instead of buying the bottle from a hydro shop and save me some money? if so what do i need? is it just epson salt or something else?

Just realize though the bottled calmag will give quicker results, so what you need depends on your plants situation. And typically lime is added and mixed into soil as you create your medium while going into container and epsom and be applied nicely through foliar spray.

Cal-Mag is not expensive as I only require 1 mg/litre, so a $15 bottle will last me years and it's simple to use.

other methods may be cheaper and likely just as effective, so I guess it depends on the volume you are growinig

I would spring for the extra bucks, and just buy the Calmag. It lasts a long time, adds a little N and you don't have to be a fucking scientist to use it.
