Leaves on the bottom are turning yellow and dying off and the top leaves have a few spots
I wait till it feels dry atleast 2 inches down which is every 3 or 4 daysSwitch to de-chlorinated tap water. Im betting you are overwatering them, 5 gallons of medium is a LOT for a plant that small. This is causing root issues which is causing nutrient issues. If i had a plant that size, it would be in a 1 gallon pot and i would be thinking about transplanting it into a bigger pot in a few days-a week depending how much i trained it. How much and how often are you watering?
Yeah im sure there is still a ton of water under that 2 inch mark. The buckets should weigh the same as the day that you filled them with fresh dirt before you water.I wait till it feels dry atleast 2 inches down which is every 3 or 4 days
