Calculating flowering time

Dumb question but here goes..... Ok I know it's something like 12 to 14 weeks of flower time before harvest, depending on the strain, but when you say 12 to 14 weeks, do you mean from the day the plant was flipped or from the day the the first flowering action was observed?

For example: 5 weeks since the flip but 3 weeks in actual flower.

Obvious answer to me is, 3 weeks in, approx 9 weeks to go. Is that correct?

A lot of strains are 8 weeks from flip. Some are 10 weeks from flip and some landrace sativas would go 12 to 16 weeks from flip. What do you have? :weed:

Ok...."from flip" that's what I'm looking for. Thank you. To answer your question, I don't know. This is my first grow, it's going great so far, it was a bag seed. One of 3 I had saved for a couple years but the only one to sprout. Started her mid Jan after Ohio made it legal in December. I had no idea if it was a female and I don't remember which bag it was in, I have very rarely found any seeds at all these past 15 plus years, I got a good guy. Turns out it's female.... turns out I waited longer than I should of waited to filp it and she's a very big girl now. From what I have been reading here... I suspect it's Gorilla Glue #4. Red stems are my main clue but it certainly could be, and probably is, something else.

I'm pretty happy with it and I've done a deep dive here and elsewhere these past 5 months to learn as much as I can.

Now I'm trying to figure out how I can achieve 60 degrees at 60 % RH in July/August. Gotta make a giant humidor apparently. :)

This is what I'll be using for my current grow.

Yeah I read the whole thread.... fascinating stuff. It even made me go search online for Temperature and humidity controlled humidors and they do exist but they are expensive and some of the reviews are really bad. I've got one plant....my 1st grow, I have already spent a small fortune on lights and a tent and lots of other paraphernalia. I will have to wait a bit before I dive into building one of these babies. For now I will have to make due.
