Do you have a hps for 12/12??, or is your MH convertable? Have you came up with any ventilation ideas to bring in some fresh air??<---I dont know what you routside conditions are but that may help your RH problem as well. Keep those fans moving the air around those girls as much as possible---not directly at them, but you know........

I wish I did but no, going to have to do with the MH. Not workin right now so a little low on cash. But will definetly get a 400W HPS/MH convertable once I get ahead of the cash situation :blsmoke:

I did get an exhaust system set up. I took some pictures of it cause it's so DIY mickey mouse but works. Actually I thought I posted that shit but I don't see it. RUI has been real slow at my end the last couple days and maybe I couldn't wait to post, can't remember :confused:

Relative humidity is real bad in this part of the world. Back home in British Columbia no problem but here on the prairies it's bad. There is a humidifier in the house I'm living in. It's not working, just checking it out now to see if I can get it going. Got the oscillating fan on three times a day for 20min. It seems to also help make the plant's stalk stronger too. Have a heater with a good fan too going all the time bongsmilie

A week n ½ later since my last photo upload, it being thirteen weeks now since I started from seeds. I see the top leaves are curling up, I think there was a bit of a growth spurt and they might have gotten to close to the MH bulb. So I moved the bulb up another six inches. Might be nutrient deficiency or not enough water, not sure. I'm going to pick up some better nutrients this weekend and see if that helps. Not to many Hydroponic stores in Calgary but we'll see what we can come up with. If I don't find something suitable I'll order online.

Went to 12/12 on Wednesday the 24th of September.

anyways ...

day 8 flowering
plant in front is at 27"
plant in back at 32"
400w MH for 12on/12off
water 1 litre each day
don't know the water or soil PH
Miracle Grow 8-7-6 nutrients, mixed ar 80% of instructions
temp at 75°
mist when I'm home every couple hours, humidity is low, around 18%
Turn on an oscilating fan a couple times a day for 20min

Keep up the great journel! I wish you luck finding some good nutes this weekend---- Do you guys have Craig's List up there?? Search it for a humidifier, you might get lucky----and probobly is your leaf problem!

I have Graig's List and KIJIJI, I should check them out. I will check them out.

Partition is up. I learned a huge lesson also. MOVE YOUR PLANTS WHEN BUILDING SHIT. A piece of 2" x 6" about 4' long fell from the roof, right smack dab in the middle of my clone box. I hadn't nailed it in yet, was just sizing it up along with a couple more pieces. It shatterred the glass into a hundred pieces (that's what it seemed like anyways). The shit landed on all the cones. Two of the clones got severly sliced by the glass. They were all squashed. Cleaned up the mess and got them all tucked away. They looked bad for about three days after, now they are amazingly looking OK. They are rooted and I will be transplanting them in next couple days.

I'll post some pictures tomorrow. Or maybe I should start a new journal for my second grow.

I'm not expecting too much, considering it's only 2 plants of bag seed. But I'll be happy with 20 grams from each plant, I'll be real happy if I manage an oz dried from each one.

My pops is a crazy snake guy...I can just imagine me trying to get some seeds going in there! Too funny!

And I kinda wish I'd researched how many different ways there are to get a useable amount a cannabis grown...I spent waaaaay more than I had to.

I mean...I'm not mad my setup is oversized for my needs... ;-)

I inheritted the snake from my son in law. He has a python n a corn snake, also a red dragon lizard. He was runnin out of room so it somehow ended up at my place.

Ya they are not as fat and squatty as I would like, but they're bag seed shit.

I tried to keep the light as close as posible to the tops without burning to try n keep them from shooting up like that. I'm doing some LST now. I'll need to get some pictures up to show them but don't have a camera right now.

Next grow I want to get some good seeds, indica strain of some kind.

It's about six inches from the tops. It's a 400w MH.
