can someone explain to me how a company can be advertised great and recommended by attitude seedbank and talked about in High Times Magazine yet have a horrible reputation???? I know the answer is money and marketing but come on!! it seems like if they were that bad....
A condensed version of recent history:
Swerve and Cali Connection came onto the scene with both guns a blazing, touting clone only Cali genetics, available in seeds form.
He had the right people behind, the genetics seemed legit, and things started off good.
Then I started hearing from my local dispensary that all of the seeds they stocked from Cali Connection, auto-flowered on their patients, when grown.
Similar occurrence echoed through out the internet, Swerve came forward and claimed it was industrial espionage, that his shipments had been tampered with by a competitor.
People gave Cali Connection another chance, thanks to some huge promotional giveaways that got folks growing their gear again.
Then an article appeared in one of the leading cannabis magazines, with a picture of Swerve working in his garden, which was completely covered with powdery mildew.
It was fucking disgusting, but Swerve lied to everyone saying it wasn't PM, but just some foliar feeding he had been doing to the plants.
This is when the great wave of negativity about CC started, and it has only got worse over the last 2 years.
Now we know there are tons of reported hermie issues, germination issues, and bad customer support.
The bad customer support is a result of Swerve coming on here and trying to be an internet gangster and defend his "work".
He cussed out people with legit question and concerns about their CC gear, calling everyone bitches and haters.
Now from what I've heard, if you grow enough CC seeds out, you may indeed find a keeper.
But overall, the genetics seem unstable at best (especially their fem seeds), and are way overpriced for what they are.
With that being said, the only way to find out if your seeds are any good, is to grow them.
Good luck, sir.
