Cali Connection Budda Tahoe fem

My first time with CC. Just 1 bean, no selection this time. Ran her in water-only organic soil with 600 HPS. A slight glow from the tent next door caused a few lower node herms around week 3, a good stress test that many will fail but easy to pluck the two or three bunches of naners.

Stems were very sturdy with minimal branching but perfect amount of node spacing. Fat indica leaves. Dense buds with tons of frosting. She finished in less than 7 weeks. Classic OG smell (piney? funk) along with a mega dose of skunk. Smoke was top notch. Yield was good (1 zip/gallon) and trimming easy.

Even with no selection this girl rates in the top 5 out of 85 females we tested in the last few years. A great plant for growers and very high quality resin.

Pics are at 6 WEEKS

I thought about gettin these seeds. But Swerves online post kinda turn me off to his company. Im sure his genetics may be bomb, but Im a 50 year old man, and some things are just disturbing to me!

1 bean, first time ever with this strain and you get a Tahoe OG finished under 42 days? I don't know you so I can't call you a liar, but under 42 days doesn't sound reasonable to me unless it wasn't finished and you just chopped it out of impatience

Great looking genetics there.. Lucky from just 1 seed shows that theres a lot of dank to be found in these lines.
I would have let it go at least to week 8 or 9 judging by your week 6 pics. The pistils do not look nearly swollen enough to be mature

I am no rush. Quality is 1st priority. The PIX are from 42 days but I let it go 49 days before the chop.

I prefer the trichs to be bright in the jar rather than brown whenever possible. As long as the buds have firmed up and the trichs are tall and swollen I will chop em down.

Here is a TGA spacedawg at 51 days. This is an example of something I would consider ready for the chop.

dam yall found a keep there... looks great... thanks for the remarks...keep it green
I'm sold. Ordered more CC gear. Not much OG over here on this side compared to Cali. My buddy got a hold of the abusive cut but we lost it last year.

I just ran a Spacedawg,, it looked just like yours. I let mine go 9 wks but it didn't put on much more weight although the color blushed a bit more.... Not much of that Cali shit in our neck of the woods, can't find anyone to mail me clones so I try what seeds look good. Got a Larry Og at 6 wks, it's wicked.

I did the same thing the first time I ran it and came to the same conclusion. Out of 4 females there was significant variation though. 9 weeks, 8 weeks and the other two 7.5 weeks. Yea I have the same problem man, no elites I can get my hands on over here. Got a pic of yr larry?

Here is a Buddha Tahoe OG Black pheno from EBR on TCC"S website..killn it
Thats close to the pheno I had. My leaves werent QUITE as black, but my buds have more black and purple hues in it.

I hate my camera sucks so bad and doesnt show what buds really look like, just doesnt give them justice at all.

Nice color. Reminds me of a durban poison we had growing in an attic during winter. It does seem like the purple adds a sweet flavor.
