Cali Connections Larry Og ( sativa or indica)

whats up guys im growing Larry og from Cali connections and i had a questions. Would you say larry og is more of a sativa dominate or indica dominate strain. on the seed case it said 60%Sativa 40%indica. I ask all my buddies and never get a straight answer. When it vegs it stays short and bushy , but when you flip it to 12-12 it stretchs and begins to look like a sativa. fell free to leave your opinion im trying to get this cleared up. check the pics IMG_2203.jpgIMG_2306.jpgIMG_2329.jpgIMG_2673.jpgIMG_2720.jpg

those look pretty indica dom. to me, but sometime's if theres alot of sativa in the gene pool they will strech at the start of flowering like a sativa would but will finish like an indica in about 9 weeks probly, my opinion anyways, I could be wrong.

look how close th %s are so they both are almost dominate so both traits are gonna show. just mho

Ive had her since 08 and o9 and ran two more packs in 2010,alltogether 4 packs and my 2 sativa leaning phenos were the strongest;I found 4 moms that I kept .I just did not have room for anymore moms.2 were allmost idetical except on smelled more like fuel.All were good meds its just hard to find a good yielder

many og crosses and s1s stretch. never grown a pure og clone, but i've heard they are stretchy and most require stem support.

wish I could have found 1 that smelled like fuel mind yielded good but no flavor at all straight plain jane

i believe i have 2 different phenos. One is tall, light green, and has an okay yield. the other one is smaller, darker green, FROSTY, and yields excellent. i wish i would have cloned this one. I still have 3 more beans to pop, hopefully i come across this pheno again i love it!

its one of my faves definitely. how long did you flower those lovely ladies? i'm on week 5 and the hairs are about 10-20% orange/amber. im thinking a solid 9 weeks for 1 of my larrys. the other larry still has all white hairs but is producing decent size buds. i guess it could be more of a sativa pheno and may take me into week 10-11

i veg mine out to about two feet and then put them in flower. i have been chopping the top two thirds of the plants at eight weeks letting the bottom third go another two weeks. they reach six foot easy and with both harvests i get five to six zips a plant with all of it being top shelf, even with the bottom buds. in fact the extra time gives the bottom cut more of a couch lock almost narcotic buzz (along with crazy frost!) making me think i should start my first cut at nine weeks instead and the second cut at eleven weeks. i pulled just over thirty four zips on my last run with just six plants under two 600 watters, i think my pheno yields just fine.

sounds damn good to me. i was thinking about doing a two part harvest as well, cause im running a 400w hps with 3 plants all 3 feet tall. i went a little too big for the light i have but im going to try out that two part harvest. 5 to 6 zips a plant DAMN! i wish i could get yields like that. shit my grow room wont let me get a plant over 3 feet without burning it. keep up the good work superjet and thanks for sharing, i appreciate it. +rep.
