California Clones anyone?

In the LA/OC area there seems to be few places that actually sell seed for some reason, I think it's the fact that so many carry clones and this is much easier than beans as they are already sexed and no worries about popping.
Although I did go to a club in the LA area off of the 10 FWY that was out of clones but had seeds, go figure.. LOL Got some Bubba Kushberry seeds I gave 4 a try and have two of those being sexed right now, they look like they are girls but should know for sure in the next couple of days.
So long story short, your gonna have a MUCH easier time finding cones of the the strains you want vs seeds you want in local clubs. If you have to have beans of a special strain you will more than likely have a better shot at finding them online and placing an order. Now that I think about it, I don't think either prop 215/420 specify anything about seeds, only plants. Need to review it again, maybe clones more common because seed are MORE illegal, if that make sense... lol

There are several reliable sources online if you look in this section you will find many reviews on seed companies, most are reliable, it's the customs agents and postmasters that are unreliable...
Oh yeah and for being your first post, I probably wouldn't expect you to get too many people rushing to give you addy's and PM's for places to go find these. Just think about it for a second... undercover brother.... get to know the members a little bit better and let them get to know you better, would you be willing to lead a complete stranger to your connect?

i have a mother going now of a cross i made last year, the father was the purps and the mother was strawberry diesel,im anxious to see what it can do .i chose the mother from 16 seedlings which I sexed and chose the best phenotype. also i have a very special strain that ive just started flowering under a 600 watt, the mother was Violator kush seeds that i got from barneys farm the father is white rhino which ive had the seeds of for quite a while. ill post some pics once they are flowered enough to be worth taking pics of. I know that the violator is one great strain, the buds were so big and tight on the first and only grow ive done with it, i had to support each and every branch. The last few years ive really gotten into cross breeding, its quite easy and the outcomes can really be something special.

you cant go wrong with the green crack. its fun to grow too. In lake county you can come up on some rare cuttings at their dispensaries. I also heard that they have a farmers market type deal where people get together and trade clones...I would like to know more about that if anyone around here knows more??

I got my Purple Urkel a couple of years back at a shop, and it has been my favorite ever since. I also had trainwreck which was awesome as well. But my buddy was keeping our TW mother and it died. After that, I decided I was keeping all my own mothers.
I bought a purp kush clone, and it turned out to be garbage. I don't know if it was just a schwag cutting and thats why it sucked, or if my cab is just not good for that strain.

i searched the net last night and found alot of really good strains! and feminized too! my question is would be safe to place an order i have red alot about some shipments being confsicated by the G. and alot that went thru! what would the chances be? is it worth the try placing an order worth 250+? and since im in so.cal what would be better searching for feminized seeds around or just order it from the net?! any help or input is appreciated, thanksl.

Your in So Cal.... get a med card and go get you some clones from one the 100's of dispensaries you will find seeds at some dispensaries but not as common as clones (that assumes you don't already have one)...
You don't have to worry about #1 seeds not making it #2 where to send them #3 once they pop, if the po po come a knocking you can hopefully keep the grow, remember they don't always come around specifically because of your grow, I bet domestic disturbances out more grows than you can imagine (assuming you stay within legal limits) #4 you pay just about the same price seed vs clone if you take into consideration M/F ratio in unfem'd and the bump in price of fem'd seeds (beans average what... between $10 to $45 each, right? and clones average around $20-45) #5 you get a 2-4 week jump start depending on how large a clone you can find... unless you just have to have a particular strain that isn't available at a local club.
Not to mention you don't have to worry or have thoughts that by some far out possibility you could 'get busted' when the seeds come...
not that I believe that would actually happen, VERY VERY VERY unlikely IMO but I'm sure it can be argued that it is possible.
