Never ran any cali connect ...because of the problems i here...its a chance that id really hate to take...

He has been over on my local site saying hes gonna release cuts and seeds of his gear...(white bubba, white eurkle, and white fire)....
The first cuts released had a tons of males.... and some growers lost harvest , wasted months....
He relied on the dispenciary to weed out the males... and they totally fucked up.....
Some how he was contacted by my local colectives vendor (the propieter of louie) and theyre in talks of releasing this work hopefully ....
Together...which would be awesome .... cause its right in my neighborhood...
It amazes me still because i dont know any of these breeders... But theyre work is at my fingertips.. ..

this info needs to be here in this thread. there is a steady circulation of new growers in the scene and in their minds they just want LA kush strains and to them swerve is the king.. but they don't know the history behind the cali connect and swerve and all the bs.
sure swerve will continue to work on these varieties and they may turn out to be some stable dank lines but i have been around since before they made up the Cali Connect and i saw all the bullshit that they talked hyping up their gear.. all the contradictions and blatant lies, cover up's, ect that came from that. so, because of that i will not support their endeavor because it seemed to be purely motivated by profit and fame. he wants to be the kush legend in LA.
if you guys were in the scene prior to cali connect then you'll know that swerve isn't all that he claims to be and has no problem lying/denying any misinformation that he has been responsible for in the past.. ie "i never passed fake cuts", "i never said this and that", "i am the only one with the real Fire" claiming that "Raskal and Cali Connect are friends".. i have heard that you have never even met Raskal face to face.
also, claiming rights to the Tahoe when you were simply given the cut from another grower.. how does that make it your work? and don't you claim to have something to do with the Pre98? and you always refer to 96-97 when you talk about the kush. LA kush was around well before them. i smoked kush in the early 90's (90-91) and i know old schoolers that smoked it in the late 80's (87-8
. its just that it wasn't called "OG" yet. it was called Afghani Kush, Purple Kush, ect, with the term "kush" mainly refering to the earthy, kushy taste and that kush smell. i don't agree with your timelines based on my experience.
i do think that OBS (creator of the alien line) is a good breeder doing some good work and i am stoked to have some of his alien crosses straight from the man himself. i just don't agree with him letting Cali Connect work with the line.
what alot of people don't understand is that in LA before the kush cuts were readily available in the clubs everyone wanted these genetics bad. they were obsessed with it because of the money that was being made with it. so much so that they were willing to pay thousands for a cut (or cuts) knowing that they'd make their money back fast. seeds were also sold for ridiculous amounts and swerve saw all this and was the one who stepped out and said i am going to capitalize on this. then he proceeded to rush seeds to market without proper testing and 100% proven genetics. and people that were crazy about getting their hands on these genetics jumped at the chance regardless of whether or not they were tested, which they claimed them to be all the while keeping their fingers crossed.
but he was saavy enough to realize that if he didn't have the real genetics it wouldn't matter that much because many of the people that were going to buy the seeds didn't know any better because they couldn't get their hands on the real genetics anyways and wouldn't be able to compare.
anyways, you do your thing swervie.. keep working the lines and do right by the cannabis gene pool. this info needs to be here though so that others can read both sides and make their own decisions since it all disappears over there on the farm

I hit the SoCal scene and tried about 20 different Alien x's and even one grown by Raskal himself and the Alien OG my partner just cured to perfection from some CC tester seeds blew everyone out of the water.

i don't think there are 20 Alien x's.. and.. swerve didn't have shit to do with the Alien line.. that is OBS's work completely.

i just have trouble giving your words credibility when you are obviously so one sided towards swerves gear. according to you everything he touches is the best of the best better than the original clones, ect. if statements are too good to be true then more often than not, they are.
Just let me get to my overall point. Myself, my friends and most of you reading this are good growers for amatuers but we are not SwerveS or Bogs or Raskals.
where is your proof that swerve is a good grower? where are the pics? you're basing your statement on here say and the fact that you've shelled out a bunch of dough for his gear. if he's a real breeder then he's the only "breeder" that doesn't have pics of anything that he grows or of the development of his seed lines. i don't know about you.. but it makes me scratch my head.
also, Raskal is a good dude with a green thumb but he's a cabi grower and also could be considered a pollen chucker. i think he's more professional when it comes to his descriptions, seed sales and dealing with customers but those guys you mentioned bro are not the pro's or the legends in the game and i think all of them but swerve would readily admit it. their hobbyists man..
I have been growing for 20 years outdoors and have about 5 years of indoor grows under my belt and for the past 3 yrs every time I have picked up swerves gear and I have grown unreal weed that I would have never dreamed of.

And the only time I was on swerves gear was when I asked bout the alien og dropping and that's because it was tahoe og crossed with alien leaning male not the "sfv" male he uses. so i just want to let everyone know i have learned a huge lesson over the last 8-9 months... after seeing all of the autoflower issues i started to really go back and try to figure out where i went wrong and well i figured it out .. and let me tell you it was a rough lesson but i learned from it..
all the suspect seeds came from 1 FN grower of mine. at that time the company was growing so much and so fast i couldnt keep up with it.. so i did what most would do when they need more stock i employed growers to grow/make seed for me.. i didnt think much of it a the time obviously until now...but i would pay for all their run and then swoop the finished plants up and dry then sort.
well from one cat who in turn was the only one at the time who still had plants to come down told me he would break it all down to seeds only for me and just cash him out then..well about a week to 2 after i paid him his high fn price we got into a disagreement and parted ways..as i felt i was getting robbed for what he was asking for the seeds i wanted. i gave him the clones male and female and then paid for everything for the run...elect,water,nutes,bulbs, mediums so forth plus paying per seed...
well i coudnt figure out why he was so eager to get away and stop working for me.. not thinking much of it i let the seeds out.. i tested about 75-100 of them for germ rates and then i grew them to less then a foot and flipped the switch ..they flowered and were to bad some where def a little different than other and some way different.. but i attributed this to the affy pollen initally used.. well after the last 9 months of autoflowers. i started adding all the pieces together.. called a mutual friend of ours got homie number again and made the call and asked about the beans i bought..in the end i got fucked nasty...not only for cash but for my reputation as it was my fuck up from the beginning for trusting this guy with my rep and my company and it is my fuck up in the end for letting this whole thing happen
so i just want to let everyone know how much i have learned from this. and how things are now different
we are doing everything ourselves no more outsourcing.. all in house in a big fucking place... we got over 20k watts flower and 10k veg.. everything is separated into their own rooms for individual lines and the constant expansion and room will allow to test thing better than before and be able to make larger quantities of seed.
so in the end be patient with us as our hick up came and went and no we are going to make up for things in a very big way..
Thank You ALL for your support and understanding and watch us rock it til 2020.. cuz we aint going no where just bigger and better..and everything done PROPER!!! no more short cuts and or half ass bs...
