over regulation.....stupid regulations.....the whole story just illustrates to me how weird California is...they had enough votes to get it legalized....but now 80% of the cities are against it?....how the fuck does that happen?
the black market is thriving, because of the stupid regulations, and legitimate businesses are struggling to compete with them, as they have to pay taxes on top of dealing with a maze of stupidity....
it's fucking weed....it's been the simplest of things for most of humanity's existence...until we decide to take an active hand in it, then it becomes just another thing to immerse in infuriating stupidity....

The cup is either half full or half empty its your choice. Been hearing a lot of whining by morons while I walk down the street smoking a joint here in BC Canada.

FYI two people can have the same income and luck yet one will be happy and the other one will whine. Its not what happens in your life that makes you who you are its how you react. While i enjoy the positives others will obsess over the negatives.

this is more about how one of the best things in the world can be turned into shit by people who try to turn it into shit......and my trying to understand how a whole state can have such conflicting opinions....they legalized cannabis, but 80% of the towns in the state don't want it....then who voted to legalize it?.....and why?...
and how many ridiculous rules can be made in as short an amount of time as possible....you already have a model that serves in most ways....use the same system you use for liquor stores...they have to be x amount of feet from the closest school or church, they can only operate during these certain hours, there can only be so many per area......this isn't rocket science, but it sure seems like they're trying to make it as close as posssible

Yes legalization is one of the best things to have happened you can now smoke weed without risking arrest or jail. As far as legalization being perfect welcome reality nothing is.

Tao Te Ching - Chapter 57
The Taoist Classic by Lao Tzu

Use justice to rule a country.
Use surprise to wage war.
Use non-action to govern the world.

How do I know it is so?
As for the world,
The more restrictions and prohibitions there are,
The poorer the people will be.
The more sharp weapons people have in a country,
The bigger the disorder will be.
The more clever and cunning people are,
The stranger the events will be.
The more laws and commands there are,
The more thieves and robbers there will be.

Therefore the sage says:
I do not act,
And people become reformed by themselves.
I am at peace,
And people become fair by themselves.
I do not interfere,
And people become rich by themselves.
I have no desire to desire,
And people become like the uncarved wood by themselves.

80% of cities? Sounds like the Chamber of Commerce and LE affecting local decision making again. It's looks like pure laziness coupled with bias. They don't know how nor do they want to learn how to make a federally illegal substance fit into their little fucking minds so they just ban it without any consideration for the people who voted for it.

Want substandard weed? Go to a dispensary. Morons there will tell you that alien rocks is a sativa. Or just lie.

Legalization has made it so I don't have to worry about neighbors seeing those strange plants in my backyard and calling the police for a felony arrest.

This was all about a "Money Grab" by the government, and we all know how that normally turns out.

With many states reporting increases in marijuana related traffic accidents, MJ related emergency room visits, and MJ related crime- it's only a matter of time that some states and counties pull back the expansion, as the black market continues to thrive and enlarge.

Yeah I've seen some of those cannabis related accidents: "He was drunk as a skunk, but we found traces of cannabinoids in his blood sample. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that cannabis doesn't impair anyone, but the fact is that these statistics in certain states are being twisted by the driver having multiple drugs in their body (like alcohol), yet they often end up in the cannabis stats.
