Handout state for sure. Don't know if you can compare it to Greece though... we actually get stuff done - we just can't seem to manage how the money is spent. I would say California is like the EU - just as big, just as diverse, and just as fucked.

But hey, my police department just spent 1.5mil on two urban tanks! So we must be doing well right? Oh wait... why do we need tanks in peaceful suburbs? Cuz the SWAT Team was bored because we have no crime here...oh yeah...

Cali, like other states, needs giant gov employee benifit reduction. In additon the hand outs must stop or the rest of us will have a Cali tax added to our current tax payments.


God forbid a giant earthquake were to show up. FEMA is broke, the gov is broke, at least some states have a rainy day fund.

  • 2 tablespoons dried tart cherries
  • 4 ounces goat cheese, sliced
  • 1/4 pound cooked chicken breast strips


Directions


  1. Toss the salad greens, raspberry vinaigrette, walnut pieces, and dried cherries together in a large bowl. Divide the salad into individual salad bowls or plates. Garnish each salad with two slices of goat cheese and a few strips of chicken breast.

And if you could it would fall even faster. Any idiot knows that democracy is the beginning of the end for a nation. It was long ago that I realized i could just vote myself a piece of the pie without ever lifting a finger to make that pie. Who doesn't like pie?

You misunderstand, California fell from 5th to 8th, while growing faster than ever. This means that some foreign economies grew faster.

You mean like the main supplier of goods to the USA? China? That probably has more to do with US trade policy than other factors.
