California’s schedules power outages.

Hello, I have 2 plants right now. Lights come on at 12 pm and stay on until 6 am. PGE out here in Cali let us know we will be having power outages scheduled for certain parts. Well mine starts today at 6 pm. Is it possible to change my light schedule during that time from 12pm-6am to 6pm-12pm without any issues?

Lots of experienced folks here have said that a rare light fluctuation during veg phase isn't a huge deal.

If you're really concerned, you could stick a flashlight in your grow until the power comes back on.

If it just a couple hours if you're doing 18/6 you will be fine I think anything over 15 or 16 hours keeps them in veg but one night I don't think at that age it would matter if it got even 12 hours one day and back to normal the next

I think it needs grow through its leaf cycle till you get to the five fingered pot leaf or whatever it normally has for it to be in veg before that I believe it's still considered a seedling that's why your light cycle would be fine after that point of it growing those last leaves that have all fingers I believe it sets into flower then. I'm just going off memory so if anyone could confirm or advise both of us. Lol

I didn’t think it would be a big deal. I just have a weird schedule on them anyways and it’s too hot for the schedule I have

1-2 hours, i prob wouldnt change anything.
Well I don’t like the current cycle they’re on. The lights turn on at 12 pm and stay on until 6 am. I would rather them turn off at 12pm and turn back on at 6 pm. It gets 110+ where I live. Energy bill is outrageous

Ah, gotcha, yeah I would just switch them and not think about it myself if vegging like mentioned, I run my lights over night as well.
