Call Me TheGreatExperimenter instead?

ok im not really trying to change my name.. but i am experimenting with a few things at once...

1st off... I have a Hawaiian Snow. She was FIMmed today. As it is a Sativa i would like to keep her a bit shorter and bushier
(First 2 Pictures ar the Hawiian Snow)

Next we have Mr. Arjans Strawberry Haze. This lil girl is getting some Low Stress Training (or LST) I applied the first string today, not very tight. (Next 3 are Arj. Str.)

3rd in line is Super Silver Haze.. a little younger than the other 2. Started in soil but i have a homemade DWC/Aeroponics setup i made for one med. plant that i will transplant to soon, this plant is also being thrown right into 12/12 light schedule. (1st pic)

Last (and least HA!) are my "others" just 2 random bagseeds i threw in a cup, literally just to see what happens.. will they fight to the death? use a lifeline? Frame the other one for murder??? These 2 are also thrown right into 12/12 (second pic)

From these plants im hoping to have one small harvest, to last me till i get to harvest the H.S. and A.S.H.. and just for shiggles.

Let me say this now, i am looking to harvest some bud, but i am not looking to have a huge massive high yeilding queen of plants. If i get over a half ounce from each plant, im happy. This is a closet grow.. so im semi space limited.. and its all for personal use :
but i will still try and do the best with what i have....

which brings me to what im using...

Lights : CFL's (6x2700k lumens more soon)

Food: each room (18/6 and 12/12) has a 2 liter bottle, the cap is on with a 1/4" hole through it. In this bottle it is 3/4's filled with water, half a pack of yeast, 1.5 cups of sugar. abra-cadabra::: CO2!! I shake each bottle 2-3 times every day. (putting thumb over hole in cap)
i replace all ingredients every week.

Next up is my love juice.. mmm.. love juice..
Love juice is 2qts of water (a 2 liter bottle) and 1 tablespoon of Black Strap Molasses (next pic) This will give them all the much need nutrients needed for growth. Did not start using untill Day 8 of growth, and only using every other day till flowering

Now, i must ask you to not mind my writing.. it will all be typed out at the end.. just there for convienience. My Grow/history Chart (next pic)

Great seetup man. Hope that C02 works out for you. I run the bottle / reg type but have always wondered about this... Any how Ive read books on C02 and plant growth and feel pretty confident in saying that at that size your plants arent gaining much of a substantial difference from running the c02 during veg. I ran my bottle all the way thru veg this time and really didnt notice any great difference until flowering hit. Just my 2 cents to try and save you a couple .75 3 packs big whoop eh? If you do run the C02 id like to know if you notice any great difference as well.. that is.. Mr Experimentor

Remember those strawberry hazes are going to need to ripen to their fullest if you want the flavor. Im still a little confused are you putting h snow and your arjan hazes into early 12/12?

no those are the only 2 that will be in Veg for another week or 2..

and i will keep the CO2 there simply because they arein closets.. and i just figure every little bit helps

Today the ASH is lookin good, grew right up ill probably add string #2 tomorrow

HS is just a bit bigger

June 8th.

The Hawaiian Snow is branching like CRAZY! (first 3 pics)

String #2 was applied to the Arjans Strawberry Haze.. it wants to grow up... but i WONT LET IT!! HA! (next 2 pics)

the SSH hasnt been transfered yet... no diffference there.. just a lil bigger.. (1pic)

Bagseeds still there... just lil bigger (1 pic)

and lastly.. another bagseed i threw into 12/12 pretty early.. and dropped it on the floor once.. somehow it survived pretty well .. i wonder what my yeild will be... (1 pic) about 1/4 of the hairs are brown at this point

Update time...

Sat June 13

The Hawaiian Snow was put into 12/12 today!! YAY!! it is super bushy already though, im excited for this one!!

i re-strung the ASH to make it easier... this method make take more time than i have before i move... so i may only LST for a few more days... week tops..

The battle of the cup continues.... one of them seems to be bigger.. while the other one may be developing more root structure.. making it smarter! who will win?

Lastly we have SSH just growin a lil bit..

June 21st

wow! so much has happened in 8 days!!!

1st, Ms. Hawaiian Snow grew quite a bit! Branching out nicely... i think when i FIM'ed i actually messed that up and actually topped (i missed the miss...HA) either way i am happy with the results, the main stem is thick and strong (First 3 pics)

Nothing special on the Super Silver Haze still early..

Now the Arjans Strwberry Haze is doing pretty good.. i now see what the LST is doing to it. If you look you can see that one side (upper) has bigger side shoots than the other.. those side shoots i think are what become future bud sites

and this is why i am doing different styles.. to learn by experience and compare.

which brings me to my next thing i learned.. and ive never seen happen..

the 2 cup-o-seeds... one was male and one was female!!! they havent been in there very long.. but i could tell one was male for sure yesterday (ive had one before) and today i looked at the other one.. and saw pistils!! already..! odd... i wonder if ill get 3.5 grams yield? my camera was a free piece of crap.. and cant zoom in that good.. but if my brother stops over he has a decent one i will use to get pics of it close.. also i want to note i threw the male out... I feel like my lil girl in the cup is like Jack(Robin Williams..)

it's all looking pretty good so far mate like that you're mixing it up for personal betterment i was half tempted to do a half soil half hydro for a comparison, just out of personal curiousity every thread i read has someone having luck with a previously controversial method or such

you bro-i like your style-growing and expirementing new things-thats all whats Marijuana growing is all about.anyway, you r plants looks really healty and sweet.

The most exciting part of this is i have never smoked a sativa! so ancy.... only 3 months to go!

You are in for a treat. As a senior citizen now, sativa is what I smoked growing up. You smoke it, then want to go do something, no couchlock with sativa. One of my girls is a forty percent sativa mixed with sixty indica, it's called Caramelicious.

Herb gardening, the ongoing experiment. Isn't it great? I bent my girls over last week, that sounds erotic, and they seem to have responded very nicely. Nothing wrong with trying different things, you live and learn. I'll be happy to share some pics, if not you can look them up under my name. Keep up the good work. My grow is similar, a small closet, six girls and I'm using t5's and one gallon grow bags, which I really like. I'm three weeks into flowering today. One more week and I'll start with the molasses, grandmas unsulphered. I'm also using fox farms supplements, grow big, big bloom and tiger bloom. My ferts for flowering, it's an orchid bloom of 11-35-15. Good luck.

Ms ASH grew itself into a light and burned a lil.. nothin major.. so i topped it.. this plant is now some odd LST/ topping mix.. and was put into 12/12 today

Just a quick update...

Hawaii is being tied down just a bit.. to keep height resonable and light absorbtion maximum (1st pic)

and! SSH showed me her tits today!! wooo! growth is still the same but SSH is a femmy! i am really curious to see how putting a sativa right into 12/12 turns out.. (no pic)

well i had some nice pics.. then the damn lights fell....

so cup o female and :tear: Hawaiian Snow bot got injured pretty badly... i dont know if either will survive honestly.. im going to atleast try and snag a cutting off of it to try and clone it..

ASH is getting big and Super Silver Haze is not getting much bigger...

July 11th

Next 2 are Arjans Strawberry i have quite a few cola's coming off of her

and next was cup-o-female.. she was doing so wonderful.. she got burned beyond recovery.. but i put 3 more seeds in the cup to retry and i am going to try and keep it small.. i want a bonsai plant. so if i get a fem she will be female v2.0

lastly a pic of super silver haze... not too much growth.. i will probably transplant very soon to bigger container
