Calling all experts! Rust-like spots on leaves :(

Hello everyone,
I've been growing for about a week now. I'm just super anxious that it's rust fungus. Here's what I'm dealing with:
  • 600w MH 18/6
  • indoor grow
  • Not much ventilation yet. I have 2 clip-on fans on them (working on it)
  • Currently in solo cups.
  • I HAVE unknowingly misted before while light was on. Could it be a burn?
  • I haven't been measuring pH due to late shipping. But I got a pH meter, and pH up-and-downs.
  • It gets to about 86 degrees
  • Lights about 12in from plants
  • It does get a little humid during dark hours (also working on controlling)
  • I have 5 plants and only one of them has this problem. One other plant has a really small spot on the colytedon.
  • Master kush
So if it is fungus, what's the first thing I should do? I'm assuming it's either pH imbalance or light burn due to mist.

1) The image you posted appears to be rust. It is common practice to quarantine or destroy plants that show infection this early so as to avoid further spread to other plants. Though there is the possibility that this plant can recover, it may be wise to remove this plant and focus on the other plants that are showing more growth and vigor.

2) In the case that you may want to keep this strain for genetics, it IS safe to use a sterilized tool to prune the affected area from the seedling. This pruning will slow the rate of photosynthesis, but possibly save the plant from imminent demise.

3) Caution! Cross contamination is a high risk when pruning rust- sterilize the pruning tool before future use, and remove any trimmings from the grow space completely. Check the topsoil is this is a messy process, the cuttings can drop straight down.

Rust on larger plants can be treated with Serenade Garden Disease Control Concentrate. I can send you a coupon for this product if you are interested, it works great!

you can through it under any light. And it will stretchh regarless thats just strain related. It's allways a good idea to start with the light on the high side.
