I started a new experiment this morning, I have been given several samples of what I'll call mids as they were grown from bagseed. with all this talk of harvesting and such I decided to try a water cure to see what happens, not sure I would ever do this with a good strain (but ya never know?) but I had enough to fill a half jar so what the hell, I will do the 7 day thing and report back

Interesting,,,,,,,,,the water cure has begun after only an hour in the jar the water has turned a brownish greenish color (looks like sun tea) and this stuff was already dried and cured, this could get good???

I have a dilemma, I have been thinking about and want your input (you being the members subscribed to my ramblings)

my next big experiment is potentially huge, if I'm right and prove what I think to be another important find/discovery/technique it will dramatically change the way we grow indoors and to be honest could be worth some $$$. ie: if I were to actually write a book it could be the "secret" that sells the book or it could make my buds worth more (not that I sell them)

my thought is to not document this part of my grow and to only share it with those of you that have actively participated as I feel it should be shared if it works

I hate it when my mind argues with itself, perhaps a bong hit is in order anyway please share what you think you would do if you stumbled onto a stellar improvement???

ah man... that would drive me to edge of insanity.
i think honestly if i had stumbled upon something like that, and had the knowlege/experience you have, i would write a book, and sell it.
and only share the secrets with member here that you think TRUELY deserve it. ya know ppl really commited to their garders, not all the people that think of cannabis as a get rich quick sceme, or something along those lines.

Kick both of those little peckerwoods from each shoulder and let them duke it out. Do some bong rips. Watch the fight. No matter which wins. Then just do what your heart tells you too. Edit: Not having as good a luck as you. Corkle refuses to give in. The buds are getting pretty water logged. I think I may have to abandon this time around. Even with a humidity below 40% getting a bit concerned.

I am going to ride it out for another day. Almost 72 hrs underwater. Seems to actually like it. We dont win everytime. I still absolutely want to get the 'bell to ring' and figure this method out.

im drowning one of my plants here ina bit. i think im goona go a lil diffrent then you, instead of submerging the pot, im going to put a smaller tub around the bottom and flush her till it fills and inch or 2, and flush again whenever it starts to dry up.

I did move mine from the tote and just set it inside another pot the same size without holes. Still keeping a 1/2 inch of standing water above the medium. Maybe you are right. A slow, steady starvation of oxygen? But then again his buddies hydro showed signs quite fast when just killing the airpump? One other point I thought of. Back in the 60's and 70's. Alot of growers back them were limited. And as we all know, grow a strain, clone along for a few years. You grow some pretty good dope. Without alot of effort. Look at the sticky, gooey shit we are growing now. We may just have to change the pitch of this bell. So it rings as true today as it did yesterday. edit: put my first pot plant in a corn field in 1974. And just started growing indoors 2 years ago. Lots too learn...

Not about needin money, I have everything I need, I just read Big talking about karma and I believe in that , that somehow the plant knows who really cares about it and things happen because of it, somehow I want to get the info to those that care, if that makes sense

got to thinkin so called my buddy up and sure enough his plant had started changing color before he drowned it, cause he was doing the 2 week flush, let it die thing before I called him about the drownin thing, so my bad on saying something that put a cog in the wheel of understanding, so we watch your results to more learn what to expect

water cure update, drained the jar and refilled this morning color was pretty much the same as I noted yesterday but the smell was awful, like fresh mowed grass, I had said all along that this stuff was not properly dried/cured guess I was right,,,,,,,,,,,

Even more interesting. So u said u will do this for 7 days, right? Will yopu sample then and then begin the next part of the drying/curing process? Makes you wonder if you went and bought a $30 bag of schwagg and set it in a mason of water for a week what would happen??? You keep us thinking riddleme, thank you.

What's sad is I can't even find schwagg, and the stuff I buy is no schwagg, but the guy can't even tell me the strain. For $20 a gram they should be able to tell at least that you know.
