Not a bad guide. But ive seen better ones, that give alternative ways of growing (lights/nutes/medium etc). Although this might of worked of you it certainly shouldn't be set in stone. There are many other good ways to grow MJ which people should experiment in and see what works best for them. It doesn't take 45 books and 25 dvd's for someone to achieve this ether, that's just overkill imo.

Your use of slang words is really bad as well, if writing a guide you might want to use English next time, i didn't understand half of what you was saying, "wicking" "wicked" "make it rain" etc. Also brita filters don't filter out much, you will still have levels of fluoride/chlorine and other stuff, although tape water might work, MJ plants would also do better in pure water, personally i use a distiller, but filtered rain water works to.

I voted NO purely on the way it was hard to read/use of non english/lack of alternative ways of growing.

Thanks, but he is intitled to his opinion, wicked is a word that applies and is not slang, make it rain is a term I used to name my technique and if he had checked my grow and seen the 15 inch buds on the 6 foot trees he might have come away with a different opinion :)

I looked "wicked" up in the dictionary, it means: Evil by nature and in practice. I don't see how that applies here. Make it rain is a nice concept but you could of just used watering. I mean flushing a plant repeatedly can cause death, since they get no oxygen, when submerged in water.. I have taken something away from your guide though, watering heavily and then feeding nutes a few days after as it will be hungry and repeating the process, i will try it.

Also theres nothing wrong with organic nutes, anything MJ plants can get from Non-Organic chemical Nutes they can get from Organics, and i bet there is not huge difference's in yield if grown properly. Most people who choose organics is because they like going the natural route, hell they may even buy organic food from the store and keep the same principals in MJ growing.

think of the wick in an oil lamp, it is where the term comes from and describes how the plant acts as a wick to remove water from the ground proper term being transpire or transporation and I do suppose that you could call it a slang term but it is widely used to describe this process

and what most never discover is that the thread is full of info, most just read the 1st page, but those that read the whole thread usually don't complain, flame or hate :)

as to makin it rain I would invite you to read my Balls to the wall journal to see the effect working (and described better) there are several pics that truely show the results

No need to pay me, as I ran a class here bout a year ago simply read the Noob Advice thread all the way thru and follow the suggested links, there have been 2 people that have taken the course after it happened that simply ask questions via PM. the follow up or advanced thread is this one read it all the way thru as well the Maximum yield thread is articles by others that back up things I teach, once you have read these join us in my Balls thread :)

Class is always in session with Riddle's Threads. I have read his Threads all the way through and there are tons of NUGGETS of INFO in there. Yes they are long and take days literally to read but, the information Riddle provides to us nOObs is PRICELESS. At least to me it is.

Riddle take a look at my plant "MamaDude" hitting the gym hard getting a good workout after the Rainfall yesterday morning. LOL

Is it still too early to tell the sex of MamaDude?

Alright, I have been stuck to my computer since yesterday. My girlfriend is mad at me, the dog is starving, but I am hooked!! This thread deserves applause.

So now I have to start reading your other goodies, but a few Q's first. What do the "thinkers" around here think of the LED's?? I have a 90w tri-band UFO, (I bought the hype:dunce:) and since then had read a lot of negative things. However after reading the info on lights here, I am thinking twice.
Everybody expected these to be the new super lights "One 90w LED is the equivelant to a 400w hps!!" Which I didnt even believe, but that being said, cant we expect 400w of LED to outperform 400w of others? As a matter of fact, High times did a multi page side by side comparison of the two, and found the LED superior. That is what initially sparked my interest.

The spectrum (or advertized spectrum) seemed right? It all made sense (there I go trying to think again), so why are they shunned? If anybody around here has food for thought its the folks on this thread

As of now I am supplementing with CFL's. I figure more is better until I get a better understanding. Thoughts?? Links to more info??
