CalMag Question...

So on the back of my Pure Bloom nutes container it states that it is imperative to utilize CM when watering/feeding. Is this really the case? Is there anything else I should add? I have never used RO water (in soil) and want to make certain that I am not missing anything else...

If there is lime in the soil, no need for the CM.

You did add dolomite to your soil didn't you?

Cal-mag also contains nitrogen as nitrate. If you supplement with equivalent N (and watch for an appetite for Mg), the requirement goes away imo. cn

Hi Jack! Can't complain (but sometimes I still do)! I found that when using GH Flora, my plants (appx. even hybrids) also appreciated a splash of extra Mg. Next time, if I stay with soil, I'm getting some dolomite. cn
